Welcome to Wolf Den Loft, a captivating industrial chic vacation rental in the vibrant heart of historic downtown Asheville on Carolina Lane. This urban sanctuary seamlessly blends the raw, gritty aesthetic of an industrial loft with a touch of wild inspiration.

Step into Wolf Den Loft and be enveloped by the allure of exposed stone masonry walls, soaring ceilings with skylights, and concrete floors that exude urban charm.

FAST, LOCAL SERVICE
Customer service is the cornerstone of our business. We know it begins with your very first email and doesn’t stop until you’ve checked out, a smile on your face.

So, here’s our promise: You’re our priority. We want you to have a fantastic time in Asheville and at 27 Carolina Lane. That’s why we’re 100% local – just minutes away, should the need arise! – and almost always available. We respond to any request within 3 hours (and usually, much sooner). We promise, we won’t leave you hanging.

And that means, no vacation rental nightmares. If you’re locked out, we’re there! If the washing machine breaks down mid-wash, we’re there! Or, if you’re just desperate for a restaurant recommendation, we’re also there. Just a call away, whenever you need us.

Bottom line: We know that the details – the big AND small details – are what count. They can make or break your vacation. So, we’re committed. Committed to you and your Asheville experience. (Reviews don’t lie!)

We look forward to welcoming you to Asheville!

Located footsteps away from the most iconic Asheville places to see and be seen, the Wolf Den Loft offers an unparalleled experience in the heart of the city. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of downtown Asheville, where historic charm meets modern allure.

Wanderings through historic downtown Asheville are filled with promise – of days past and attractions present, foodie wonderlands and cultural warrens.

Because, vacation is a special time. These are the few weeks per year that don’t demand compromise, don’t force you to swap This for That, don’t make you choose. You can have everything.

And everything you will have, at Wolf Den, a slice of Asheville history, an in-the-heart-of-it-all kind of place, where you can walk out to the intersection and see Harrah's Cherokee Center Asheville (aka the Civic Center) , Lazy Diamond, or 5 Walnut Wine Bar and Mountain Madre Mexican Kitchen & Agave Bar - all within one block of Carolina Lane.

Here’s what awaits:

Dining & Drinking: Asheville is a gastronome’s dream destination – there’s a reason "Livability" named us a Top 10 Foodie City! – and from Wolf Den, you’re just minutes to much of your must-eat list, including Over Easy Cafe, Mamacita's Taqueria, Double D's Coffee & Desserts, White Duck Taco Shop, and Rhubarb, among others. Thirsty not hungry? Walk on down to Wicked Weed Brewing, Green Man Brewing, Storm Rhum Bar, and Burial Brewery. And, don’t forget, French Broad Food Co-op fills your shopping bags with groceries and other essentials!

South Slope District: Historically the automotive district, the South Slope – walking distance from your front door! – today is known for its bars and restaurants, including Asheville Pizza and Brewing, Barksdale , Rabbit Rabbit music venue, Bear's BBQ, Bank's Avenue Bar, Chemist Spirits Distillery, and many breweries.

Entertainment: Catch a show at The Orange Peel, laugh out loud on LaZoom Comedy Bus Tours, browse contemporary art at Blue Spiral Gallery, stay cultured at the Fine Arts Theatre, and tap into performance at the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts.

Urban Trail Art Tour: Art lovers delight in Asheville’s Urban Trail, a 1.7-mile walking tour home to 30+ stops at creative landmarks, public sculptures, dioramas, and more.

Festivals: From Downtown After Five (once a month, in summer) and the Art in the Park, to the famous Pritchard Park Drum Circle , downtown Asheville, Lexington Avenue, and the River Arts District are ripe with arts, culture, and creative pursuits.

The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, perfect for whipping up a meal after a day of exploring the nearby music venues and art galleries. Stay comfortable year-round with both heat and air-conditioning, and take advantage of the dedicated washer/dryer for added convenience during your stay.

Welcome to the ultimate Asheville experience: a 2BR loft located in the bustling downtown shopping district, yet tucked away in a secluded one-way alley. Despite being in the heart of the city, this space offers a surprisingly peaceful atmosphere. Steeped in history and centrally located, this loft embodies the true spirit of Asheville.

Enter into Wolf Den Loft and prepare to be immersed in industrial loft-chic design. This home has been meticulously renovated and professionally designed to create a truly unique living space. The blend of old and new is evident throughout, with concrete walls and floors downstairs , juxtaposed with the contemporary finishes in the kitchen & bath, and timeworn wood floors supporting modern furnishings. Enjoy the afternoon light, overlooking Chicken Alley, with the downtown city scape as the back drop, setting the scene for the start of any Asheville adventure.

Every detail in this loft has been carefully selected to reflect the essence of Asheville. From estate sale finds to custom pieces, each item has been chosen with intention to create a space that not only pays homage to the city's history, but also speaks to the modern lifestyle. Vibrant colors and bold prints create a unique atmosphere, while partitioned walls allow for privacy without sacrificing the open, airy feel of the loft. This is Asheville living at its finest.

On Carolina Lane, there are is a 30 minute loading zone Monday -Friday, 9am-5pm, plus a couple parking spaces within 25 feet of the entrance to the loft. These are rarely available though, so plan your arrival accordingly with a quick drop off of a few things, then proceed to the parking space a block away. Vehicles should not be parked in a way that prohibit thru-traffic.

You don’t need a car to enjoy downtown Asheville (our walk score: 93!), but if you bring one, here are your options:

Parking Options in Parking Lots & Decks: Both the City of Asheville and Buncombe County operate safe, reliable and inexpensive parking decks. The first half hour is free and the full-day rate is just $20. There are several parking decks, as well as a few paid parking lots – pay from your phone with PassportParking or ParkMobile app, or by space / cash at the kiosk box (ask us for more details, if you need them) – within walking distance of Carolina Lane; we’ll send all the details with your booking confirmation.

On-Street Parking: While the road just in front of the loft is a loading zone, shimmy a short distance toward N. Lexington Avenue or on Broadway , there are more than 700 on-street metered parking spaces in downtown Asheville. All meters are for short-term parking (two hours or less, as marked), at a cost of $1.50 per hour. On-street metered parking is free on holidays, Sundays, and every day after 6 pm until 8am.

Loading Zones: If you’re arriving via taxi, Uber, or Lyft, feel free to unload in one of Asheville’s dedicated loading zones, limited to 30 minutes (or less, as marked). There is one 30 minute loading zone on Carolina Lane, and one on the corner of Woodfin St and Broadway.

This is an urban setting within sight and sound of busy bars, restaurants, breweries and music venues. If you are looking for a completely quiet location at all hours, this may not be a perfect fit for you. Carolina Lane is a one way alley, with very little available parking . We provided details instructions to nearby public parking decks, just a block away!

The cutest place in Asheville!
My friends and I loved staying here! The location is super convenient for walking anywhere and we had plenty of room to spread out when we stayed in. We can’t wait to come back and visit again!
