Next weekend in Lake Placid

Had a nice weekend in Lake Placid. House is spacious. Kitchen is well stocked with all necessities for cooking. Proximity to the village is a great perk.

Ironman Weekend Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Host was responsive. House had all the amenities: well stocked kitchen, games, puzzles, ping pong. Lots of space and privacy. Very clean and cute. Lake Placid is such a cool area and we will definitely be back to take part in more of the outdoor activities. My only caution is that the house is on a side street off of River Rd which is one of the roads which is closed in both directions during the Ironman. We were really worried about how we were going to get home after the race... the road is packed with runners and so you can get stuck at the house or out on hwy 73. It is bikeable, but not so much if you just went 140 miles and can hardly walk.
