This lovely, two-bedroom, two-bath, vacation rental home-away-from-home is steps to our beautiful Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The first floor of our charming duplex home in North Mission Beach, San Diego, offering a private fenced yard with peaceful fountain, and a private, bay-view dining area with lighted gas barbecue.
Within a five- to ten-minute walk to a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops, a short drive to Sea World and other local attractions; It's the perfect getaway!
The Space:
You are comfortable in our hideaway regardless of the season. It is light and airy, with ceiling fans in each room and a portable A/C in the living room for warmer days, and a fireplace and central thermostat heating during the cooler days. Granite counters & vanities. Purified water from every tap & to ice maker in fridge.
PLEASE NOTE: The designated parking spot will accommodate one SMALL, COMPACT car.

* Airbed available in living room for 5th person or they can sleep on the couch

* Separate inside eating area seating four comfortably, also with fireplace view.
* Smart TV in the living room with Roku
* Comfortable Leather Loveseat and Recliner Lounge near fireplace.
* WiFi High Speed Internet Access.
* Beach 'toys' including bicycles, chairs, etc., and a library of videos, books, puzzles, and games.
* Tandem Kayak with life vests available on request.
* Paddle Board
GENERAL POLICIES:
* A maximum of five individuals is allowed.
* No smoking is allowed inside the rental. Front Garden Picnic Table available for smoking.
Guest Access:
You have access to the complete first floor area, including the apartment, gated front yard, private dining area with natural gas BBQ, side gated entrance where 2-man kayak and beach toys are stored, rear alley locked storage area where life preservers, bikes, tools, air pump, cooler, and other beach items are stored, including a 4-wheeled dolly for transporting the kayak to the beach.
Parking is available for a SMALL vehicle on the west side of the home.
Please replace the neighbor’s trash barrels on the property line after parking.
The Neighborhood:
Mission Beach is the perfect beach getaway. This house is nestled in a quiet neighborhood just 50 steps from the bay and two short blocks from the ocean. Coffee shops, shopping (including groceries), playgrounds, Belmont Park activities, casual and fine dining and countless beach activities are all within walking distance.
We are local hosts that live nearby if you need anything during your stay. Property owner is upstairs at 809 Vanitie Ct. and may be available for urgent matters. He can be contacted by ringing doorbell intercom.
Getting Around:
If parking on the west side of the home is too narrow, parking is available on Mission Blvd; however please pay close attention to parking signs. Street sweeping signs require no parking between 8:00 - 10:00 AM on Monday & Thursday on the West side, and on Tuesday & Friday on the East side of Mission Blvd.
Other Things to Note:
We're just a few blocks away from the local Ralph's Supermarket where you can stock up for your stay. Central to all restaurants, bars, and things to do in Mission Beach or Pacific Beach.
The unit is approximately 800 sq ft.
