We have a sprawling backyard with outdoor seating, games, and a fire pit sounds to create a perfect recipe for a fun and relaxing stay. 🌳🔥

This property is conveniently located near downtown Brevard, waterfalls, fishing spots, hiking trails, mountain biking trails, and even the Blue Ridge Parkway. Great Cottage

We had a great time at this property. The rock cottage is so nice. Very clean and there is plenty of room for everyone to relax. The decor is great . Donkey is very sweet and we enjoyed feeding him treats. We would definitely stay here again

Wonderful cozy getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage. It had everything we needed and the beds were really comfy! We enjoyed local restaurants in Brevard and all the amazing hiking the area has to offer!

Awesome vacation!

We had a great time staying here. Plenty of room for our family. Enough kitchen space for us to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Donkey was awesome! Our daughter loved going out back and giving him treats. Ashley was a fantastic host and very responsive when we had question. Quick drive to downtown Brevard. Will stay here again!

Magical

I loved this home and would love to come back. The property is spacious and clean. There is so much to look at and the cottage was well stocked with everything that we needed. The only complaint I could possibly have is that I had to go home and could not stay for a few more days. It was lovely and I did not want to leave. If you are visiting Brevard, stay here. The donkey was very sweet and I enjoyed having my coffee with him by the fire.

So cozy!

This was such a cozy warm home. It felt like we were staying with family in a good way. Lots of small cute details in the house and snacks! Larry the llama and donkey are excellent hosts and we had such a fun time giving them their treats. Our kids loved every second of our stay.

Very Charming and Clean

A fun getaway for the entire family. We loved the enchanted cottage in the mountains. Very entertaining feeding the donkey and llama. The place is nicely done and very clean.

Holiday in Brevard

The property was nice and obviously a well cared for older house in an area surrounded by trees and grassy fields. Everything was as advertised. Logging into the WiFi was tricky since you have to guess at one of two usernames and the password is overly complicated, causing some delay. On day 4 the coffee pot would not work, with a flashing light warning of a need for a scale cleaning. I guessed on how to do that and was correct, so we could then make coffee. A posted instruction guide on the wall would help. The location is well positioned for local sightseeing and it was nice to hear a rooster crow in the mornings. We enjoyed our stay.

I’m a Brevard, NC Native. I enjoy staying busy with everything that our beautiful area has to offer. I love to take the kids to sliding rock, Dolly’s Ice Cream, and hiking. I own a non-profit animal rescue and hosting this home helps to support our efforts to save local animals in need. You may even see some of the animals on property.

Why they chose this property

I love its central location. It’s just a few minutes from Brevard, East Fork, Gorges State Park, the Parkway, etc.

What makes this property unique

Our property was built in 1968 and we have kept a lot of that charm. We have a lot of vintage and antique decor and we hope that you can spend hours just enjoying the decor and treasures. The property is over 2 acres so there is plenty of space for the family to get out, play, and explore. Quite often we have animals from our rescue such as cows, geese, etc.
