About this property

Timber Rest Lodge- 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath cabin w/ hot tub log cabin

Looking for a real log cabin experience with all the bells and whistles? Timber Rest Lodge is it!

Our log cabin home is one where you and your family and friends can relax, unwind and rest in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. The cabin has been styled with your every comfort and convenience in mind. The views will inspire and invigorate you.

Main level:
To begin, you will want to spend some time relaxing on the front porch, complete with rockers, taking in the views of Lumpy Ridge! Once you make it inside, you will be impressed with the log walls and wood cathedral ceilings in the open floorplan main level living area containing the living room, fireplace, kitchen and dining room. The kitchen bar has 3 seats, and the custom live edge dining room table has seating for 8. The main bedroom is on this level with a king bed and has an attached bath with double sinks, separate shower and free-standing copper bathtub. Laundry is located in the main bath area.

Upper Level:
The upper level has an open loft second living room with game table and comfortable seating. This room is stocked with books, puzzles and games for family and friends to enjoy together. The upper level has two bedrooms with king beds and ample storage. These rooms have private bathrooms with stand-up showers. The best part of this level is the front balcony! You will want to spend some time out here in the porch swing looking at the beautiful views of Lumpy Ridge.

Basement Level:
The basement level houses the oversized garage, mud room with all the hooks you will need for jackets, and media room with an attached bath. The media room is perfect for watching movies and gives you options in seating: reclining media chairs (3) or a comfy couch with chaise. Also in this room is a set of bunk beds and dresser for the kids! The media room has an attached private bath with a shower/tub combo unit.

Carriage House:
Across from the main house you will find a smaller house fondly referred to as the Carriage House and it is packed with delights! On the entry level you will find a games room complete with shuffleboard, Skee-Ball, air hockey, foosball and arcade style basketball. The kids and grown-ups will have a blast playing together sans phones! A kitchenette makes snacks and beverage super convenient as you play games or watch a game on the tv. On the upper level is a private suite for anyone requiring a bit more seclusion than the main house affords. The suite has a queen bed, two pull out twin trundle beds, a living area and a private attached bath with a walk-in shower.

Backyard:
As stunning as the house is, the backyard is the masterpiece of the house! Newly built in 2024 (coming soon!) the back yard is the ultimate relaxation area. Step out the main level back door onto an extended deck featuring a deluxe built in grill and beautiful teak table for 12. Take a few steps down to soak in the 7-person hot tub or join the conversation without getting wet from the built-in bench. Head up a few steps to the outdoor pavilion complete with a fireplace and comfortable seating for 8.

Looking for the best views? Head off the main deck to a picnic table with killer views of Lumpy Ridge. The animals are prevalent in the yard~ at any given time you can find deer, elk, chipmunks, turkeys and rabbits. This is the mountains so please be cautious about bears in the area looking for easily accessible food and trash. Available for 30 day+ bookings due to short term rental restrictions in the area. Stay all or part of the 30 days at a great discount!

We are ready to retire to the mountains but we need to get kid number four graduated from high school! So while we wait we wanted to share this amazing home with others.

Why they chose this property

The views are amazing and we love being close enough to walk into town. The lot is amazing with tons of mature trees and mostly limited close neighbors.

What makes this property unique

We have always wanted to live in a log cabin and let me tell you, the experience lived up to the hype! Nothing feels more grounded than being surrounded by massive logs!
