Had an amazing time just relaxing and reminiscing with family and enjoying the great outdoors. This home is beautiful and well appointed. The water access just off the porch was perfect and provide all the peace and rest your looking for.
My family and I have stayed at this property multiple times due to its size and proximity to the river and lake. The home is spacious and very comfortable. The owner is amazing and provides everything you need to make your stay as convenient as possible. If you enjoy a clean home along with easy access to some great fishing opportunities this is the pace you want to stay!

River House at Navajo Dam
The house is old and needs some renovation but when inside we were amazed at the quality of the furniture. The cleanliness of especially the kitchen was very disappointing. The inside of the kitchen cupboards were filthy as well as the oven but the owner, after requesting it, send a cleaner crew to clean. They did clean the oven and some of the bottom cupboards but not a single top cupboard. The outside furniture was full of cob webs especially underneath and we have to clean it ourselves. The house is located right on the river bank thus a perfect location.
Stay was Great with one exception, both trash cans were full and we had to find a place to toss our trash! Our family will be back next year! Thank you!
Plenty of space for family or friends. Enough bathrooms and kitchen functioned well. Good location if you are fishing on the San Juan or going up to the lake.
Only negative would be the spotty internet and wifi access but we were there to be outdoors so not a huge inconvenience.
House was perfect for two families. We had plenty of room for both boats to park and for everyone to spread out. I wish there were more things to do in the town but we were there for the lake so I guess it doesn't matter. Manager was responsive.
Enjoyed the location and the roominess of the house. The only negative is that though the house is vacuumed & wiped down, there are some stains through out and spills that need to be cleaned. The blinds looked like they have never been cleaned, so I cleaned them 😁. Enjoyed the outdoor deck once we cleaned/washed off the cob webs. (We went and bought a cheap hose to wash it down) even with that we would stay here again, the location to the lake and river is very good and this is great for a large family as we are. (5 stars if you would just spend one day to wipe down the walls)
A group of fishing buddies rented this awesome place for a long weekend of fun on the lake. Navajo Lake is very sparse for accommodations, especially for larger groups. I stumbled upon this gem and jumped on it. The place was exactly as stated. We had everything we needed and had no issues at all.
Our group travels all over the state fishing, and this will be our "go to" place whenever we want to hit Navajo Lake.
5 STARS!!!
My family had a great time especially having access to the river cooking was a problem couldn't run to much thing at one time it triggered the breaker not enough tollet paper paper towels and 13gallon trash bags for a large group but other than that enjoy the house except to one person missing my husband dad uncle grandpa and brother in-law who passed away last year he enjoy fishing at San Juan river thanks for letting my family stay at your house
Great Lodging, I wish I could say the same for the fishing
We have stayed at the same house for a number of years. The lodging was, as in the past, excellent for us. Clean and I think remodeled bathrooms. I would highly recommend this location. Thank you, Rod
Huge house, will accommodate multiple people easily. Riverfront view and room for boat and trailer.
Fantastic house! Very big and updated all around. The house is a bit older but the updates make it feel nearly brand new. The river access and view is unmatched and extremely beautiful. The front yard had enough room for my truck and boat. We will be staying here again for sure!!!
Our family chose this house because it is on the river, and it is only 5 miles from Navajo Lake. But it turned out to be so much more. With four bathrooms, and five bedrooms spread out comfortably in the house, everyone had private space. But we also had four comfortable gathering spaces as well. The kitchen and dining area was big enough for everyone to pitch in on making meals. The very large, living room was where we gathered and enjoyed each other's company after dark. There was an extra family room between the kitchen and the outdoor deck, where we could see the river and be comfortable on cool mornings. And finally, the outdoor space on the back deck seem to be the favorite place for a morning coffee. The kids could play wiffleball and kickball in the backyard. A very short walk through the back gate to the sandbar lead to an excellent fishing spot. And finally, 5 miles away was the marina where we rented a pontoon and spent a day on the lake. It was all so amazing and so much fun. We grilled our meals and packed a picnic lunch for our day on the boat. All the other meals we had together in the spacious kitchen and dining area together. There were board games and puzzles and card games that we played the kids. The kitchen was unusually over stocked with many items for our use. Apparently many guests leave condiments, and other food items so the owners leave them for the next guests. Lucky for us, because we forgot to bring a few necessities. Overall an excellent stay!
We have stayed in this property for 7 years. Unfortunately, this year, my grandma had to have emergency surgery to remove a tumor in her stomach. She went in to the er on Tuesday and had surgery Wednesday. We were supposed to stay at this place on Wednesday. I called and let him know the reason why we couldn’t go. I wasn’t even expecting a refund. I understand it’s a business and very bad luck that my grandma has surgery the day we are supposed to go. I was hoping that we could just have a credit and go when he’s not booked over the next few months. He didn’t even let me get to the point to ask that. He told me that everything I’ve said is “nothing but excuses”. It’s sad, because now we can never stay at that house again.
