Lake Front Home on Belgrade Lakes

Three bedroom home facing West for beautiful sunsets and afternoon sun for fun on either the 65 foot house deck or 20 foot deck on the waters edge. Large dock and float to enjoy swimming, fishing and boating on 11 mile Long Pond. Canoe and 2 kayaks provided; boat rentals .5 miles away and State handicap launch even closer. Enclosed porch with Sunsetter awning. Perennial garden and buckets of flowers. House deck has steel cover underneath so you can enjoy the hot tub in any weather. Lake temperature between 75-85 degrees even with the deepest part of 100 feet. Walk out basement recreational room. Enjoy the convenience of a gas log at night.Washer & dryer. No linens or towels or outside fires! Pets need owner approval.

Great week on Long Pond

The location and the camp are wonderful. Our family enjoyed swimming and boating. We saw bald eagles and lots of turtles this year. The camp amenities make the stay more than comfortable.

50th Bday week getaway

We have been to this reguon of Maine before and knew that it would be a good central location for us to use as a homebase while we went and did many activities to celebrate my husband's 50th. We found this place and it was perfect. We were able to rent a boat for part of thw w÷k a d dock it there, we went canoeing, grilled out and had some beautiful sunsets we watched from the deck and from the dock Most things you need are there at the house. If you are from a city or area where things are open late, be aware that some things in this area close a little earlier [8pm) splo plan your grocery shopping accordingly Be aware that there are NO linens included. You can rent aheets from someone in the area, but you still need towels. We brought everything with us, sheets, comforters, blankets, pilllow cases, towels (beach, bath, dish, and hand), wash cloths, dishcloths. So make sure you have it all packed and plan for the amount of room that will take up in your vehicle They leave very detailed notes about how to use and care for everything while you are staying there, and apparently, they live locally and do stop in throughout the week. We did not run into them until we were leavng on Sat as we had been out exploring the entire week. (River rafting, boating, golf, batting cages, exploring thr coast, hot air ballooning, ATVing, lobster boat tours) As I said, great location, great spot in the pond, lots of space, but there are some drawbacks if you are coming from a distance

Beautiful spot on Long Lake

We loved our stay at Roger's property. It had everything we needed and having the lake/dock and a kayaks and canoe was awesome as I love to fish and tour around the lake which is beautiful. The culinary and glass wear could use an upgrade!

Long Pond Stay.

Charming lakeside home

The house was great! We’ll equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, comfortable furniture, large table for family seating. Very large deck on backside of house facing lake with dog/kid gate which made it easy to sit out with our dog. Very nice dock/waterfront area for swimming! We really enjoyed our stay here!

Super fun week

This property had everything we needed. Dock is perfect for our boat, loved the floating swim platform and hot tub was quite enjoyable too. Fishing and tubing loads of fun.

The property is situated beautifully on a quiet, clean, gorgeous part of the lake. Having kayaks available was great. The home is well loved and not very updated, but we rented for the outside mostly anyway.

A wonderful place to recharge!

We visit Maine every year with our two families. Pinewood Point is beautiful and peaceful. The house was beautiful (and the wifi fast so the kids were happy), and Roger & Sandy left complete instructions for everything. We definitely recommend, and would love to come back!

Great week on Long Pond

Loved our stay at the camp/house. Thoroughly enjoyed the large deck that faces the water. Great spot for little ones and dogs to enjoy and be safe. Plenty of shade on the deck as well. The AC in the house was great as first few days were 90+ degrees. Looking forward to our next visit.

Long Pond vacation

Arden cove is a beautiful corner of Long Pond with access to nature, including swamps and bald eagles. The camp has all the amenities and great views of the lake. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely Lake Sunsets and Timeless Beauty

This lakeside property has a very large, private and wooded location overlooking beautiful Long Pond. It is obvious that the property has been well loved over the years with the established gardens and very nice dock and float The wonderful large deck off the back of the house affords you beautiful sunsets over the lake. The rooms are large and comfortable, and have a campy, timeless feel. It's a great place to get away from it all!

Belgrade Lakes Vacation

This camp and location on the lake provided great opportunities for fun and adventure for our family. Motor boating, kayaking and nature exploring were delightful. The raft was a hit with our grandkids. The camp was clean with all the needed amenities.

Long Pond Retreat

We had a wonderful stay with our 3 young children. The house is quite spacious and has everything you need to make it feel like home for your getaway. Kids had a blast swimming / jumping off the floating dock and fishing. Kayaks and a canoe are available to explore beautiful Long Pond. This has been our 3rd summer staying in the Belgrade area and was our favorite accommodation yet. Thanks Roger!

Beautiful location with a bad experience!

Location is beautiful, but accommodations were not of the VRBO standard we are accustomed to. Had to clean dishes, pans and glassware before use, as well as the shelves they were on. Limited pans were provided and in terrible condition (and, yes, we looked in the drawer of oven). Both decks have some rot and are unsafe in places. Would have appreciated owner to list requirements of no guests in the property listing. Had family visits and we were made to feel not welcomed and harrassed. PLEASE be careful using the dock!

Great stay despite the weather

Location of the property is close to the public boat launch and shopping and food. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Had lots of rain during our visit but still was able to sit outside with the awning. Roger and Sandy are very nice and accommodating, would definitely rent again.

Lake living

Absolutely beautiful property. Set up great for a family too. The deck off the back of he house and then the deck/dock by the water were incredible. Gorgeous sunsets every day. My family and I have been going to the Belgrade area for 10 years and this was hands down the best cabin we have stayed in. Thanks Roger and Sandy for letting us stay in your home. My girls can’t stop talking about it was the best vacation they’ve ever had.

Peaceful Lakeside Home

We had a great week. This home is set on a beautiful section of Long Pond. We enjoyed sitting on the Adirondack chairs watching the sunsets and swimming in the lake. The boys caught lots of fish. The home was very comfortable. We had everything we needed. We hope to be back soon.
