The property is in a great location. Close to beaches, quick ride to the store. A well stocked kitchen. The outdoor use of the property was somewhat limited as the property is not well maintained on the outside. The inside does need a deep cleaning otherwise the property is nice and roomy!
We really enjoyed our stay in Waukazoo Woods! The property is in a lovely, tranquil area with Lake Macatawa nearby. We loved riding bikes and taking walks around the neighborhood, as well as being close to Holland State Beach and downtown Holland. Went to many great restaurants as well. The property was the perfect space for our family, including an infant grandchild and our dog. The amenities were great, and communication with the host was very easy. We would definitely consider staying there again!

Extended Family Celebration
The house is in a beautiful neighborhood in a wonderful location. There is a finished basement with extra beds and a foosball table that is not listed in the property description. The young adults in our family enjoyed having a place of their own to hang out. The house was good sized and nice for our family. We had plenty of room to spread out or gather together. There are bikes and camp chairs available which are also not listed in the description. Although some of the bikes could use a tune-up. Used the fire pit once and it was nice that kindling and firewood were available. There are some areas of the house that could use some TLC but overall a comfortable stay in a nice location.
The house was perfect for us; lots of room for the whole family to be together or be apart. It was really nice to have all of us dining at the same table (which we can’t find in most places). Even though the property is listed as a lake house, we couldn’t actually see the lake. Other than that small disappointment, everything else was just fine.

Great property that needs better management
The location is fabulous. Well stocked kitchen with a lovely large dining room table that comfortably seats 8 to 10. Two nice family room/living rooms. Bring flashlights or lanterns — the power apparently goes out often and there are not candles for that situation. Response time from the host was poor.
The house suited our needs perfectly. Everyone was comfortable. The neighborhood is beautiful and we were able to get everywhere we needed to go easily. Thank you so much!
We spent a week with family at Waukazoo Woods. Lots of beach time and local activities (farmers market, blueberry picking, Captain Sundae ice cream, shopping, fishing). We love the neighborhood so close to the beach. This is a wonderful home for our family and pets.
Our family of 10 adults had a wonderful stay!
We were close to the beach with easy access.
The neighborhood was beautiful with old growth hardwoods making for wonderful morning walks.
We had plenty of space to share meals and spread out in the various rooms.
Great living space for a large group.
Would definitely stay again if opportunity came up
We found this an ideal location to enjoy both the beach, and the sites around Holland and beyond. The house is nestled in a beautiful neighborhood, it worked well for our extended family of 8.
The roomy layout, shaded yard / deck and pretty neighborhood were all hits with our family group. Meeting mid-summer with out of state adult children, we enjoyed nearby blueberry picking, cooking in a well-stocked kitchen, Holland brew pub & shops, the beach at Lake Michigan, s'mores around the firepit and playing literary charades in the sunken family room. Highly recommend for quality, cleanliness and ease of check-in.
This home/location served our family of 10 perfectly. Plenty of rooms for all of the couples as well as the kids to have their own space. Loved the openness of the house, great kitchen, the long table for family breakfasts and game nights worked beautifully. The owner, Linda, was wonderful to work with and was truly on top of any and all questions we had about the home and area. Would certainly stay again!!
This location had soo many beds, we anticipated 4+ bedrooms, there were 5 bedrooms plus 3 or 4 twin beds in the basement. It was soo much space and was VERY well equipped, they seemed to have thought of everything we could need. The neighborhood was absolutely beautiful and very safe. We would definitely come back and highly recommend.
This home was cozy and comfortable, the layout was so accommodating and five bedrooms were awesome to hold our family. We had so many laps around your kitchen table, looking through pictures and telling stories. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit too. I would definitely definitely recommend and we will be coming back. Thank you
Our family (4 adults, 2 small dogs) have enjoyed staying at this home in Waukazoo Woods for Christmas for the past few years. It is a perfect home for our family as we can spread out and enjoy games around the cozy fire, or retreat to a quiet corner to read. So relaxing! We absolutely love it here!
Home offered a well stocked kitchen and plenty of sleeping options for a large family gathering. Short drive to lake Michigan, macatowa and downtown Holland. Be sure to bring firewood so you can enjoy the natural fireplace. Main floor offers a bedroom and guest half bathroom and two living rooms adjacent to the 2 car garage. Second floor offers a large master bedroom with private bathroom and 3 additional bedrooms and shared bath for the guest. Second floor laundry is an added touch. Basement is a full walk out basement with plenty of beds. Property owner was very responsive with questions.
This was a very spacious home with plenty of bedrooms for all. Ther was both a living and family room so all family members could spread out. The location was close to outdoor activities- absolutely an exceptional location!
A beautiful, well-equipped home for our family vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is clean, near a small park that is within walking distance and met all of our expectations. I highly recommend this house.
This is a perfect property for family vacations. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. They house had everything we could have possibly needed. Plenty of space for the whole family, comfortable rooms, lots of natural light. One of the best vacation rentals I have ever stayed in. This is a great place to come back to every year!
The property was exactly as portrayed in the listing. It was comfortable, spacious and allowed pets. The price was very reasonable. Thanks for the great stay.
Everything was wonderful! The location and description of the house was on point
It was a great vacation for our family of 10. We rented the home for our daughters, who are 26 and 29 ,their husbands, along with Their children 4,3, and 1, Our 17 year old daughter and ourselves . The house was spacious for everyone to spread out to unwind. The kitchen had everything you need for your stay if you want to stay home and cook. The location was great for all the local activities. Great place to stay

Our time in Holland
The best part of the property was the size of it and it’s location. It was older and needed an overall cleaning. There wasn’t a flat area for the kids to play outside the property. It had been suggested (in the guest book) to add a picnic table outside, but there was none. The basement was nicely appointed and held three twin beds, but the smell downstairs kept us from using them. There was only a charcoal grill and a very small amount of leftover charcoal to use with it. We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy each other. It was disappointing that the property wasn’t nicer.
Nice large house. Our family loved staying here. The neighborhood is beautiful. We went on bike rides everyday. Hollad state park is biking distance and it is BEAUTIFUL.
Loved this house. There was a big group of us and the house was able to accommodate in number of bedrooms, kitchen/dinning room, and living spaces. The dining table is huge and we spent our evenings gathered around it talking and playing games

Why they chose this property
My family has spent MANY happy days on Lake Michigan beaches. It just seemed right to have a place where we could all get together and make more memories.
What makes this property unique
Knew this house was the one as soon as I entered the door. Lots of space for a large family. From the skylights to the loft in the master bedroom to the floor- to- ceiling windows in the kitchen that open out on to the deck, I knew my family would enjoy this home. The stone fireplace in the family room is cozy on chilly nights and during the summer, we can all sit around the fire pit in the back yard.
