Beautiful

From the time we pulled up the driveway, we knew that sleepy Bear Lodge was going to be beautiful. It only continued as we entered the house and saw the view of the lake. Everything about the place is fabulous. Plenty of room to stretch out for a big group. Highly recommend a stay here if you get the chance.

Stunning View

We enjoyed our stay even though we had bad weather. It made the nice accommodations and stunning view even more important. Loved hearing the lunes on the lake!

Sweet location

Updated kitchen was great. Large deck area. Kid friendly yard with a big tree swing. We did not use the dock but it looked good. Plenty of parking. Short distance to town. Northern Wisconsin is horrible for mosquitoes! Outside of house needed some dead bug removal and window cleaning.

I'm from Northwestern Wisconsin, and called Lake Nebagamon my home for a few years. When my dad passed away, I had to move back closer to my family but decided to keep Sleepy Bear as a cabin - and I'm so happy that I did! Me and my family love that we get to enjoy it and share it with others! We love that it is a space that a family (human and fur babies) can enjoy, with plenty of space inside and out!

Why they chose this property

I love that we are so close to town, we can go in and enjoy ice cream at Lake Life or grab a few things at Midland, but that we are still out in "the woods." There is so much wildlife that we get to see - deer, fox, turkey, and even bear.

What makes this property unique

The property is unique that it is large enough to host a large group, but intimate enough to not feel like you are so separated that you aren't together. It has amazing views of Lake Nebagamon, with access to the water - but at the same time it has an incredible large yard so there is plenty of room to run around outside and enjoy the outdoors!
