About this property

Mid-Century Modern meets Cajun/Creole, hub to Louisiana Festivals & Adventures

2256 Bardwell Dr. is part of the residential College Heights Subdivision, centrally located to the main LSU Campus, Towne Centre shopping, & State Capitol downtown. Downtown, on the Mississippi River is the city's oldest historic settlement. Downtown stays current as an international shipping port, housing branches of government, art venues, & the latest LSU School of Design .
Nearby, interstate connections get the traveler to rural town, & New Orleans entertainments.
Baton Rouge has great BREC public parks & golf courses. In the heart of Baton Rouge is the Bluebonnet Swamp BREC park with boardwalks throughout & interpretive museum.
We set out the latest local magazines, 'LSU Reveille' & 'Country Roads' which have interesting current events & local businesses listed.
It's a cook's kitchen. The claw-foot soaker tub is the best tub to relax in. The bedrooms are cozy, comfy. Sleep late into the morning with blackout window treatments.

LSU Football Weekend Trip

Property was conveniently located within 7-10 minutes from campus. House offered everything we needed for a great weekend. Our host communicated well throughout the process. Would definitely stay here again if back in Baton Rouge.

Host was so rude we didn’t stay

I get that the reservation was made for two people, but the house was listed as three bedrooms. The host would not allow a third person to stay and would not allow us to use the second bedroom. We were three ladies who needed three different beds. The host accused us of tearing up the place and taking advantage of her even though we had never stayed at the house. We decided we could not stay at the placeBecause of the abusive language from the host. She was not willing to budge one bit.
