SEA CASTLE #2

Nearly perfect for our intent on this visit. Enjoyed getting familiar with Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island. Don't forget to try the Salty Pelican for oysters!Sorry we left a bag of 3 days trash but couldn't find directions for disposing of it.One thing we might suggest for visitors at our age (mid-80's): perhaps a 5 or 6 inch step stool for getting into the very nice king-size bed). Beds for Giants

The condo was well furnished, and it had a fully equipped kitchen. My friend who stayed in the front bedroom complained of road noise. For some reason, the beds were very high off the floor making it difficult to climb (literally) into the beds. The pool was disappointing as one could see sand and algae in the bottom of it. The manager was very accommodating as he was able to resolve some of our issues in a timely manner. (Upon arrival, the AC on the lower level was not working.) I suggest replacing the bath towels and wash cloths. Some of them had ground in dirt. One beach umbrella and one beach chair were at our disposal. (Two out of three chairs were too rusted through to use.) All-in-all, we enjoyed our stay.

Picture is misleading

Condo was great. President of HOA not a nice person. We were told that our boat wasn’t allowed on property. No walking on the grass.
