A great getaway
We had a great time at Haven Cabin. The host was great with communication. The is at the quiet end of the road, but also very close to restaurants and amenities. Everything was less than 10 minutes away so location wise this was excellent! Kids had a great time playing in the meadow around the cabin and my mum loved watching the fireflies as soon as dusk started. The cabin is a little on the small side but it has everything you would need. The picnic table on the porch outside is comfy. A couple of nails are poking out, so watch out for those if you have small kids. Jarrett and family have taken great care in setting up the cabin and it really shows. Be it the plumbing or silverware they have made sure its all a great quality. The master bath doesnt have a door, which was a little surprising for us. And depending on how your household is, might be uncomfortable to work around it. The theme that keeps appearing is rest and refuge and this cabin really is that. It was the perfect getaway our family needed. The wifi is a good speed. My husband was able to work from there comfortably. Broken bow lake and Beavers Bend state park are so great! Fantastic activities for the whole family. Everyone we interacted with was friendly. Our only issue was we did not find many options for vegetarian food (our family is vegetarian). We did end up cooking so it was OK. There was miscommunication and shortfall from the cleaning staff. But Jarett helped us as much as he could.

Very quiet property at the end of a dead end street. It’s surrounded by trees and greenery yet close to town for convenience. House is small but clean and comfortable. A/C worked great. Kitchen/sitting area has large picture window overlooking backyard - great for bird & squirrel watching. Kitchen had plenty of utensils although we didn’t use them this time. There is no inside dining table but there is a picnic table on the front deck. The only inside seating is a loveseat but there are a couple of rockers on the front deck. Great for couples, families or girl trips.
