Lovely and clean interior with nice artwork and plants. Well appointed with coffee/ makeup remover/ shampoo/ conditioner. Suited our large group of 8 people very comfortably- would highly recommend for a group that size
Well maintained. With one bath in the master bedroom and the other in the hall for all other guests it was a little tricky. Dining room especially good for gathering everyone. Although the distance to downtown Chicago isn't all that far, traffic requires 1 hour driving time.
Our stay was lovely! Communication was easy, check in easy, use of home- easy! Kitchen was well equipped.
There’s a pool- but we were advertised a hot tub too- it was great regardless!
Perfect spot for grandparents, children and grandchildren to be together and also near other family members. The kitchen was well equipped for helping to make a lot of the meal for thanksgiving. Nearby park was good for the little kids. Piano was great, as we have musicians in the family.
Our stay here was a wonderful experience all around. The home was beautiful and extremely comfortable for our group of 11. We loved eating and hanging out in the backyard. The house was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked. I can’t say enough about the kind and thoughtful communication with the host (Liz) and how accommodating she was throughout our stay.
What a delightful home! Everything was clean and comfortable. Even the weather was almost perfect! Plenty of room to spread out, or gather, as needed. Our 15 month old granddaughter was enchanted by the bunnies in the backyard.
This lovely home provided much-need space for our family from across the country to connect around our mother’s funeral. The large tables allowed us to dine together and share memories.
The home is wonderful. Liz is easy to work with. She was concerned about our needs from the outset. Great location. Big dining table inside. Another big dining table outside. Nice yard.
So easy to communicate and figure things out with the owner. House is well cared for and the kitchen is perfect for cooking family meals. Above ground pool is magical in the heat and for kids to play in safely. Did a great run along the river parkway.
Elizabeth was fantastic to work with! Their beautiful, comfortable house is located in a beautiful neighborhood. There is a park just down the street. The home was extremely clean upon our arrival and there were even fresh flowers waiting for us! A wonderful stay :)
Wonderful location. Great neighborhood. Big house accommodated 8 guests very easily.
A great place to rent when visiting Northwestern with a big group. The house has many lovely spaces for gathering and the back yard is also a fabulous space. The host, Liz, was so kind and helpful. And responsive when we needed her (which was only on check out because we had a quick question). The beds were also very comfortable! Thank you for a lovely stay!
