The property looks great in photos but not in person. The first safety concern as a female teavler is the front door code was the same as the unit I rented. Therr were 5 units in this building. So could anyone get in my unit? Next after gettting in we discovered how unclean the property was. We found a shoe in one bedroom, trash and used Q tips under the bed. A stained chair. There was a mold smell in one of the bedrooms due to the air conditioner leaking. There was also mold around the window frams. The batroom smelled of bleach. It had no soap, shampoo or any basic amenities. Ther was half a rool of toilet paper for 3 days for two adults. No paper towels in the kitchen and one trash bag. The one kitchen trash can had a trash bag that did not fit and was the size of a batroom trash bag. We left and went to dinner and when we retuned there was a resident in the lobby screaming at the top of her lungs at her partner on the phone. For all these reasons and more we decide to leave the property. I contacted the owner expressed my problems aand asked for a full refund. They said they would look into it and thanked me for putting a bowl under the leqking air unit. Since them Inhave gotten nothing but the run around. I am not one to complian or leave bad reviews but i feel I have no choice. I filed a complaint with vrbo and was advised to leave a review. I dont want anyone else to have experience this.
