About this property

Remodeled modular farmhouse in Acworth near LakePoint Sports complex - Emerson

The scenery is woodsy, small farm feel, comfortable, clean, and a secret find! Enjoy coffee on the front porch or grilling on the back patio. You’ll have privacy and nature to relax and rejuvenate. This is a remodeled modular home with a 14ft ceiling in the living room and kitchen and an open floor plan. The wall paint is the same color throughout the house, I’m just not a good enough photographer and so some of the pictures have a very strong yellow color but others show the correct hue, a farmhouse muted mustard color. There are large windows in every bedroom to let the light in but also blinds for privacy. A few antique pieces are in the rooms, treat them gently please. The kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets were all replaced during the remodel. Granite counter tops in the bathrooms and a large granite high top in the kitchen for eating or playing board games.
There is coffee, filters, sugar, non-dairy creamer, for a drip coffee maker. Also a microwave, gas oven/stove, full-size refrigerator, and dishwasher in the kitchen. No paper plates or plastic utensils here, you’ll have place settings for 6 with stainless steel cutlery, ceramic coffee cups, glass highball vessels, wine glasses and water glasses. Speaking of water, you’ll be drinking delicious well water from the tap. Views of nature out of every window, depending on the time of year, include blooming Dogwood trees, Japanese Maple trees, azalea, irises, roses, and much much more.
The house was once the farmer’s home but not anymore. He does come to the property daily to water the tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, squash, and there are blueberries you can pick between May and June.
I'm new to Vrbo but have been on the other short term rental app for 7 years and have many, many 5 star reviews.

Amazing hidden gem!
This little house was so adorable with beautiful furnishings and artwork. The space was used perfectly and there were so many extras. Linens and towels were plentiful along with coffee, sugar and powdered creamer. There were two TVs both with Netflix and the showers even included shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The property is hidden off a main road and up a hill. A peaceful escape that was very quiet. My daughter even saw a deer the first night we were there. The owners have tons of gorgeous flowers all around the property and even blueberry bushes. My only suggestion would be about the beds. The mattresses were not the most comfortable if you prefer a soft, plush bed. They could easily add a topper to solve this for anyone needing it. An absolute winner and would stay again!!
