Cabin in Polaris

Maverick Mt and Grasshopper Valley views from the large front deck or from inside the cabin. This is a quiet private location, backs State land, with beautiful quaking aspens and pines all around.

Just step outside the back door to enjoy thousands of acres of Montana's most pristine backcountry. Hike to Sawtooth lake right out the back door. The Grasshopper Valley and surrounding mountains are home to a variety of year-round activities and there is a lot to explore.

Relax and rock on the large front or back decks or enjoy the fire pit. There is an outdoor propane grill, propane heater, giant Jenga, cornhole, and a 6 person dinning table on the back deck.

Aspen View Cabin is almost 1500 square feet. The lower level has a beautiful fully equipped open kitchen, bar counter space and a large walk in pantry with all your basic needs supplied. The entryway provides plenty of space and includes a coat closet. The living room is open concept with a TV, propane stove and beautiful views from both large windows. The lower level also has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, a bathroom and a separate laundry room with a brand new smart washer and dryer. Upstairs is a very large loft with 4 twin beds and one full bed, plus a smart TV, DVD player, entertainment center full of movies, puzzles, games, a game table and a comfy reclining couch. Every window from this cabin has a beautiful view including the loft.

Please note that pets MUST be pre-approved and there will be an additional $30.00 per pet fee.

We have an outdoor Ring Camera that functions as a motion activated light and can see the driveway and steps to the deck. There are no other video or audio devices.

Terrific Accommodations and Location
Super comfortable and thoughtfully appointed getaway backed up by State and Forest Service land and the Pioneer Mountains. Would happily stay here again summer or winter.

Perfect cabin getaway!
My friends and I were looking for a cabin centrally located to all of us that still had plenty of amenities- this one was perfect. Gorgeous views, comfortable accommodations, close to lots of outdoor activities. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Get Away
The overall experience was fantastic. We really enjoyed the cabin so peaceful and a perfect set up for our family. Lots of room upstairs for the kids to enjoy playing, despite the very difficult stairs to access to loft but my 3 year old made it up and down perfectly. The cabin has amazing views and the decks are so nice to sit on to enjoy dinner and morning coffee. The kitchen has almost anything you need to prepare and meal. The little country store at the base of the mountain has such amazing selection and the owner is the best super friendly and sweet. There is endless activities to do around here we were running everyday all day. I would recommend this cabin 100%. We will definitely be back soon. Our only down side was the cabin owner failed to send the instructions on how to get here and check in which was difficult to communicate because Polaris had no cell service. The owner of grasshopper inn was super nice and allowed us to use the WIFI to call and she got us all squared away. Thank you for the use of your home it was perfect!!!

To our surprise, the area, Polaris, MT is prettier than Big Sky, MT as it looked before it became exclusive. The journey started as the road meandered through the mountains up to the top of hill, the second to the last cabin on the wooded road. As we arrived we could see the most delightful cabin nestled in the hillside of the quaking aspen trees, with incredible views and amazing mountain vistas in every direction. The cabin is more like a home, with Montana energy and rustic dreams. The owners take great pride in decorative accents, making sure everything that anyone would need or want is in place including an “incase you forgot it”basket, and creating a cozy comfortable environment. The owners were very attentive and forthcoming with all details necessary to have a Montana adventure. My husband and I brought our side by side and climbed three mountain ranges to see breathtaking scenery, that was picture perfect. We dug crystals out of a mountain side, at Crystal Park, had our meals under cover on the back deck, and drank coffee watching the sun come up and kiss the mountains in the morning. Our steak was cooked to perfection at the Elkhorn Hot Springs restaurant. The sunsets were beautiful full of color and splendor, and the thunderstorms rumbled the whole world as the storm clouds came and went. It was very restful and relaxing, just what we needed to be recharged and rejuvenated. We count anyone very lucky to stay in such a great cabin. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful Cabin in Polaris
Cabin was very comfortable, just like being home away from home. The local area in Polaris is beautiful offering hiking, rockhounding, hot springing and if not anything else just spending time relaxing on the beautiful covered porch. Cabin had everything we needed for my younger kids as well as older parents. My whole family loved this place and did not want to leave. 10/10 would stay again.

Amazing cabin!
The cabin was perfect for our guy trip without the families! The beds were comfortable, kitchen is spacious enough with outdoor seating in the back. It was warm while we were there but opening up the windows provided a pleasant draft throughout the whole cabin. We also took a hike up to Sawtooth lake which is close to the cabin as well. The hosts were amazing and easy to deal with which added to the enjoyment of the overall experience!

The Morning views from this property are amazing! You can see the ski hill from the front porch, quiet neighborhood, and beautiful little cabin.
