About this property

Modern Downtown Cottage

Newly built Allison Ramsey cottage that is this centrally-located between downtown Beaufort and Pigeon Point makes this the perfect spot to explore Beaufort. The Downtown Waterfront is 9 blocks (~10min walk) and Parris Island is a quick 12 minute drive. The home boasts an expansive screened in porch, high ceilings and thoughtful touches throughout the home will put your mind at ease as soon as you arrive. We also include a Hunting Island pass with your reservation.

There are two enclosed bedrooms and an addition loft with a futon that could be used as an extra sleeping area.

Please park on Calhoun St. Only park on Charles St. when there is no parking on Calhoun (which is typically never an issue).

Please message through the app if you need assistance with anything.

Right on the edge of downtown and Pigeon Point makes this the perfect location to explore Beaufort. Located in Pigeon Point road off Boundary Street, this neighborhood favorite offers an inviting and lush setting that boasts a large children’s playground, picnic areas, public boat ramp and beautiful garden spaces.

Car is best but you can rent bikes. Uber and Lyft are very rare but there are some local taxis.
- If there’s an issue or something breaks, just let us know as soon as it happens. We are much more lenient if you do so.
- Keep noise to a minimum after 9 pm. There is a noise ordinance between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am.
- Any type of event must be approved beforehand (typically not an issue, we just like to know). Also, large gatherings, such as weddings and reunions, are prohibited unless specifically approved by the City.
- No pets allowed without permission. If there is a pet on premise without permission, you will be charged $300 minimum.
- No smoking inside or you will be charged $300. It’s free to smoke outside.
- Depending on the channel you book through, there may be a $500 pre-authorization hold on the card acting as a security deposit.

Our second stay was better than the first

We enjoyed this property so much the first time, we immediately booked it again. The location is convenient to downtown, but this time we traveled farther afield and explored Hunting Island State Park with the parking/entry pass that comes with the cottage. We also enjoyed trying new restaurants this time, all within walking distance. Yet, while it is convenient to downtown, it's in a quiet neighborhood and feels almost secluded. Sitting on the screened-in porch on a cool autumn afternoon was a joy, as was the fireplace on chilly nights. Eli is a fantastic host and made us feel truly welcome. We will be back.

Excellent property in great location

We enjoyed spending the weekend here and will be back. The location is within walking distance of downtown and the waterfront. Next time, we'll bring our bicycles. The neighborhood is quiet, but several restaurants are within a couple of blocks. The house is cozy, yet airy and open at the same time. We appreciated the modern decor and new appliances. If the weather is nice, you'll spend the majority of your time on the large screened-in porch. It was wonderful.

Beaufort Perfection

Both the rental property and the host are outstanding. It's the kind of place you never want to leave, and Eli's the kind of host you'd want to call "friend" for the rest of your life. We traveled through Hurricane Helene to reach the property. On arrival I found quite a few text messages on my smart phone. These were all from Eli, concerned about our safety and notifying us of damage to the area. The power was out on arrival, and Eli asked what we wanted to do. We opted to stay. This was a smart choice. The power was back an hour later. The remainder of the trip was smooth sailing except for a minor dead battery "chirp" in the smoke alarm. We texted Eli, who was attending an event. He dropped everything and showed up with a ladder to remedy the situation. The property is nearly perfect in appearance, luxury, cleanliness and performance. The kitchen is well equipped. The only things we wanted for were a sheet pan, broiler pan, and a lighter. The screened in porch is a study in understated perfection. Inset steps, minimalist white molding, solid pine flooring, substantial columns, a soothing color palette and ceiling fans combine to make this bug-free zone ideal for appreciating the sway of the Spanish moss dangling from the live oaks. This property was the perfect location from which to launch our exploration of the Beaufort area. Superb for a couple. Wonderful for a couple plus 1. Doable for a small family.
