You will be near popular attractions such as The Pines Recreation Area, where you can enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and picnicking. High Falls is just a short distance away, with a trailhead that leads to stunning waterfall views. Lake Glenview also offers scenic waterfall tours for a relaxing day on the water.

The decor never strays from the theme with wood-paneled walls, industrial steel accents, exposed-beam ceilings, and panoramic views of the surrounding nature throughout. The open, eat-in kitchenette features a mini-fridge, stove, Edison bulb light fixtures, and gorgeous cabinetry, perfect for preparing meals while enjoying the tranquil view (no dishwasher). An office nook off the kitchen provides a peaceful space to catch up on work with high-speed fiber cable internet.

Feel at home with a cozy living area featuring a woodstove and entertainment options like a TV and DVD player. Tuck into a queen bed upstairs or rest on the king futon in the lower-level living space. Radiant floor heating ensures a comfortable stay amidst the rustic charm, while the summer breeze keeps the vacation rental cool in the temperate climate. Like most homes in the area, there is no air-conditioning.

This mountain retreat is accessed via a short yet steep driveway, requiring all-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive for access. The parking area is halfway up the driveway and requires a short walk to the house. Turnaround space is limited, and you'll need to reverse vehicles back down to the main road.
