We had a fabulous stay. Clean, tons of kitchen things you might need, plenty of sleep space. The noise from upstairs is definitely not a selling point, but it’s not the end of the world for us.
I am so close to giving the property 5 stars. The place is very cozy and quite cute. My only complaint is all the noise that travels through the ceiling. I don't think the family that lives above is unusually noisy, but I am pretty sure I could hear paper falling on the floor. Fortunately my daughter and i had to be up early every day to get to appointments, but if i had wanted to sleep in a bit and enjoy a peaceful morning, it would have been difficult. It was a very clean and nice place, and was in a gorgeous neighborhood however. Would book again if i had morning functions to attend.
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Well decorated, VERY clean, nice neighborhood, and spacious living spaces. This is a basement. The family lives upstairs and is an active family so the noise (steps, water flushing, conversations) were all heard so a bit difficult to sleep in while on vacation.
Overall was a good stay. The unit is spacious, clean and nicely remodeled. It is a basement apartment so intermittently hear activity upstairs but this was no big deal
Spotless. We're usually a little hesitant to book basement apartments, but we rolled the dice and were pleasantly surprised. As nice of a basement apartment that I've ever seen. Would recommend.
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was very clean and welcoming , including a thoughtful welcome basket with a few treats. The bedrooms had extra blankets and the bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries. There were games and puzzles to keep my kiddos entertained. The kitchen had every appliance and tool that we needed. And the laundry room was lovely to have especially when traveling with young kids. We were worried that we would need AC but even on unusually warm days it was very cool and comfortable. The host was quick to respond to my questions and helped make our stay a plesent one. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to staying here again.
We went to Eugene to attend the state championships for high school track and field and wanted to stay the night to watch our grand daughter compete. I came across this listing and was amazed how beautiful the accommodations looks and how reasonably priced it was. It is tucked in a quiet neighborhood in west Eugene with easy access to many restaurants and close drive to the University.. It was very spacious , decorated beautifully and provided all of the amenities one could ask for. Only two of our family was able to stay the night but it would have easily hosted 8 or 9 without feeling crowded. We met the hosts and they are very gracious and helpful. We would definitely rent this again !
We’re a PNW family that enjoys sports with our family, camping on the weekends, hiking, and eating good food. We decided to host because we had the space and enjoy utilizing vrbo when we travel, so we figured why not?!
Why they chose this property
We love our neighborhood! It is very safe, mostly older couples in the neighborhood that look out for each other. We’re on a corner lot on a dead end drive and we love that privacy as well.
What makes this property unique
We have newly remodeled the basement, having a full kitchen and 2 living room spaces makes it nice for a bigger group.
