The Burren Barn. Edge of The Burren, adjacent to The Wild Atlantic Way!
Enda and Sinead look forward to welcoming you to our recently fully and lovingly renovated Burren Barn.
Our home shares the same grounds as The Barn so we are very nearby to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. You will be afforded complete privacy during your stay!
The Burren Barn is ideally located for some r and r, to work from home or to explore the word famous Burren and all that Co Clare has to offer, eg The Cliffs of Moher, Lahinch, Doolin, The Caves, Fr.Teds House, The Burren Perfumery, The Flaggy Shore,eateries, mountains and beaches.
Adjacent to the M18 facilitates day trips to Galway, Mayo, Kerry and Cork! Our former guests have enjoyed trips to Galway City, Dingle and Killarney in Co Kerry and so many more!
Gort Town is approx 10 km away and has a train station and bus service. It has a variety of shops and places to eat. The Historic Coole Park is just the town and well worth a visit!
The Burren Barn is equipped with books, brochures and menus and Enda will be happy to assist you with recommendations re trails, trips and places to visit and eat at!
The Barn does not have a TV set but a large monitor can be provided for your use. There is not a washing machine but your laundry can be done complimentary to you in Gort Town.
Former guests have enjoyed looking out on The Burren Hills and our herd of cattle from the cosy space upstairs as well as lounging in the private garden.
We also enjoy hosting guests in our Pod which is nearby. Further details on request.
