About this property

Welcome to the Sand Bar, our family friendly property that can be the perfect home base for your next Maine vacation.

The Sand Bar is centrally located right off of Rt. 1 and convenient to all of Wells’ beaches.

The house has three bedrooms, two have a queen bed in each. The third bedroom, the bunk room, has a full size bed and two twin beds in a 6 foot lofted area, which the kids will love. The bunk room also has a pull out sofa, its own TV and a half bath, making it a great spot for the kids. The main part of the house is an open concept living room, dining area and kitchen with a huge island, stools and a coffee bar. There is also a finished basement with laundry and bathroom with a shower.

After a day at the beach or exploring the area, come back and enjoy the backyard with a nice cold beverage near the fire pit. A gas grill is available.

Perfect beach house for surfing

Had an amazing time during our stay! Enjoyed the nice waves in the area. The barbecue and the fire pit were highly appreciated. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Great location, only 12 minute drive to the beach. House was very clean. There is an Irish pub with live music on Saturday only 3 minutes away and we had a great time. Also Kittery oulets were only 18 minutes away. ..

Wonderful Stay

We loved the property so much. It was just as described in the listing and very spacious for us. Unfortunately due to weather we weren’t able to enjoy the backyard but really wanted to. We will definitely book again when in the area.

Great Place to Stay!

We had an excellent time on our stay in Wells. This place was clean, well equipped and spacious enough for 10 people. We did bring an air mattress which worked out well so we didn’t have to pull out the couch in the living room area. It was perfect for the large basement room! Location was right off the main road and close to beaches, restaurants and stores. We would definitely stay here again. Hosts were great and always responded quickly to my texts. Certainly would recommend this place!
