What an amazing place!
We spent a wonderful week here, meeting up with our kids and grandkids. This home was very spacious and accommodating for our group of 8 - 4 adults and 4 kids.
The indoor pool and game room were the main attractions for the week, and the huge dining table proved to be perfect for the whole family - both for dining and for games. The decks are awesome and huge, and the fire pit area was our gathering spot in the evenings. Just awesome!
The house was just recently completed, and we did encounter a couple of small issues which were communicated to the owner and resolved very quickly. It is very spacious and beautifully furnished and decorated, just as you see in the photos.
The location is very nice, atop a hill with a lovely view out over the valley. There is a twisty and steep road to get there, and it gets a little tight for two cars passing in opposite directions on the curves, but if you stay in your lane it’s not a problem.
One of the highlights was seeing the black bears, and the house has a black bear decorating theme throughout. We saw 8 bears over the course of the week, and a few were a little too close for comfort as we were out by the fire pit, so please be on the lookout when kids are out there. None of them acted aggressively, but hey… they’re bears - so use caution and do not feed them.
We hope to return again, as this was a memorable stay for us!
