About this property
Jungle Geodome with private bathroom, deck, and garden.
Reconnect with nature in this unforgettable escape. Nestled in the jungle but close to amenities, our comfortable dome offers a King bed, kitchenette w/ mini-fridge & microwave, private attached bathroom with gorgeous outdoor shower, plus large deck with table & lounge chairs. Located in a unique setting minutes away from the famous Captain Cook trail with breathtaking views leading to Kealakekua Bay where dolphins play. Requisite 17.5% State/County Tax packaged with each booking.
The space
The gorgeous jungle lane leading from the main road to the property is quiet and makes for a great little walk when you want to stretch your legs. You’re close to hiking trails—including the famous Captain Cook trail which leads to the crystal waters of Kealakekua Bay just a 10-minute walk from the property. Supermarkets and cafes are all within a 5-minute drive, and so is the eclectic Aloha Pure Kona Green Farmer's Market which features arts, crafts, jewelry, food, live music, and more! Driving is recommended since the main highways aren’t the most pedestrian-friendly, though adventurous travelers have no problem getting around on foot. It’s just not recommended for children.
Guest access
The entire dome, deck, yard, and attached bathroom are private and yours to enjoy. There is also a barbecue and large shared outdoor kitchen on the property with an oven and other amenities if more cooking is in your plans.
Other things to note
Please keep the solar fan running at all times and the dome will stay cool and comfortable. We pride ourselves on being prompt and always striving to please our guests. This is why we have earned top hosting/rating awards since we opened in 2022.
