When we got there no electricity. It was out for about 2 hours before it came on. There is no actual heat at the property only 3 mini splits 1 in each bedroom and one in the living kitchen area. Which is not enough heat for the common areas. Kitchen plenty of cookware very cabin feeling as well overall it was an ok experience
Hubby and I wanted a cute getaway for thanksgiving weekend, and this little cabin was perfect. Secluded but still close enough to civilization. The hot tub was wonderful. We unfortunately never got to use the fire pit - just a bit too cold out for us. Space is great. There is a pretty close neighbor, but it didn’t impact our stay at all, and we basically forgot the house was there. The road to the cabin is unpaved so 4WD is probably a good idea. Very cute place

So many signs
Signs everywhere, telling you how to use everything from the stove top to the toilet to the internet. Also the hot tub is on camera which is recording sound and audio. The house had a musty smell which invaded all our clothes and returned home with us. The house was cute but all the signs could have been in a book to make it feel less like someone is always watching you. The light switch by the front door doesn't work so you have to enter an unfamiliar house in the dark. The light in the kitchen that did work flickered horribly, we had to take a lamp from one of the bedrooms. And the toaster gave off a horrible smell.
Nice little house, perfect for a family, friends, or adult couples!
My cousin and I do an annual trip to the Barryville/Narrowsburg area with our wives over labor day for some hiking, rafting, restauranting/cooking, etc. This home was about 7mins drive from Narrowsburg, and in the middle of the woods, which is perfect. The neighbors are a bit close, but we were not a bother to one another. Also, I'd recommend an AWD vehicle with decent clearance, as the road is gravel and the driveway is steep and narrow. I have an Audi SUV and had no issues.
The home was nice and clean with many little extra features such as games, a dart board, hot tub, a nice firepit and some leftover starters and such beds were comfy and there are mini split ACs in every room. The TV comes equipped with Roku, and Internet is strong and stable.
There are always a few things that are inevitable, such as a bees nest where you'd not want one, or some of the outdoor ambiance lights not working properly, but the host was very prompt and attentive.
We had everything we needed for a wonderful time.
The property was very clean and all of the instructions were very clear. We were rafting at Landers and the property was nice and close by. I will say that my GPS tried to take me on a road that did NOT connect but after we figured out where the property was, we didn’t have any issues. The hot tub was a great bonus. We had to contact the host at one point when there were AC units and he responded quickly, even late at night and we resolved the issue very quickly. The beds were very comfy and we had a good few nights. Our group would certainly stay again!

About the host
Hosted by Gabe Nagy
Started hosting in 2023 and realized I like the industry. I like adding more and more stuff to the house and building diy stuff. I love nature and gardening, so this house is a great addition to my portfolio.
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is far away from the crowded nyc, but not too far that you have to fly here. Only a 2 hour ride from the big city and you can be in nature. The area is very calm and peaceful, the neighbors are extremely kind and never bother you and your guests. During summer time you can enjoy the Delaware river nearby and all the local restaurants while having your own hot tub at the house just for yourself.
What makes this property unique
A hot tub is a great addition to the house, with the perfect view of a hill and the river. Solar lights puts you in a great mood once the sun set, while you enjoy a glass of wine in the hot tub.
