About this property

Lil Lakeshore Cabin, Close to Downtown TC

Summary:
Relax and immerse yourself in natural beauty at this gorgeous lakeside cabin. Completely remodeled and updated, this rustically-chic cabin has all the charm of a wilderness get-a-way with the amenities of home. Centrally located 10-15 minutes from most TC hotspots- downtown, breweries, wine-tasting, Interlochen, and Lake Michigan- you can enjoy the wild while being close to a plethora of activities.

The Space:
The private, spring-fed, no-wake lake is perfect for kayaking, fishing or sitting-by with a campfire. The large deck features a gas fire pit table and grill to gather and listen to the loon’s song while watching breathtaking sunsets (see and post sunset pics @LILLAKESHORECABINTC). Cozy up by the fireplace on cold nights, sip Nespresso in the mornings, roast s’mores at the campfire and allow yourself to truly unwind. This property is in Long Lake Township where several all-sports lakes, hiking and Moo-mers are just 5 minutes away.

The cabin sleeps four with one bedroom (queen bed) and a daybed-with-trundle in the living room. A total of 6 guest max may be on the property, with 4 guests overnight per the short-term rental regulations (Certificate Number: 006706).

This cabin is stocked with all the kitchen essentials and also holds a washer and dryer for your convenience.

This Cabin is perfect for a romantic get-a-way for two, a family of four or three individuals traveling together.

Please note there is a mini split in the main room for heat and A/C! (mini split in bedroom is getting fixed in September)

A very quiet and relaxing lil cabin
My spouse and I spent 4 quiet and relaxing nights here for our 31st wedding anniversary, We enjoyed watching the sunset on the back deck with the gas fireplace. This cabin has all the amenities you can think of using while you are there. The cabin is far enough away from downtown Traverse City, with the feeling of country living. We will definitely be back

Wonderful Stay (with inconvenient surprise)
My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Lil Lakeshore Cabin the night of our wedding and it was a very quiet and cozy place to wake up and enjoy our morning together after a long evening of celebration with family. Check-in was super smooth and the property was lovely, however I wish the host would have mentioned ahead of time or listed that the wall-mounted A/C unit in the bedroom (one of only two used to cool the entire property) was out of order. The host also asks guests to leave the thermostat by the fireplace untouched. As a result, even when we got the A/C to finally start cooling the property, this would trigger the fireplace to turn on and warm things back up. This made for an extremely warm and sweaty evening (not the fun kind, mind you lol) where we ended up sleeping on the couch instead since it was directly under the only working A/C and offered some relief from the humid July night. In every other aspect the property was phenomenal but considering it was nearly $1,000 for two nights, I have to sadly say that it was nowhere near worth that much.
