Lazy Bear: Charming 2BR Log Cabin

Lazy Bear is a charming, traditional log cabin outside, with modern amenities and delightful decor inside! Located in a forested resort, this two-bedroom, one-bath cabin welcomes up to seven guests to enjoy a serene retreat.

Living Room

Lazy Bear features a sunny, open plan main level where conversation flows easily. Rich, natural wood brings the outdoors indoors, from the gleaming hardwood floors to the artistically crafted, kitchen island. Stretch out on the smooth leather sofa to indulge in a movie marathon on the flat-screen TV. The dove-gray and cream room is cool and restful, ideal for relaxing after a day of hiking in the Smokies or riding coasters at Dollywood.

Kitchen

Featuring stainless steel appliances and golden wood cabinets, this pretty kitchen can handle anything from a family feast to a simple picnic. The handy double sink makes cleanups easy. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cookware, dishes and utensils you need. The counter space here is generous. Why not lay out a pancake buffet for breakfast, a taco bar at lunch, or a make-your-own-sundae extravaganza? Don’t forget the whipped cream and sprinkles!

Dining Area

The round dining table is just steps from the kitchen, so hot food stays hot from stove to plate. Underfoot is a rug wreathed with a pinecone motif, and overhead is an unusual chandelier made of antlers. The dining table seats five, and the kitchen island adds seating for four more hungry folks.

Bedrooms

Adorable hand-carved bears perch on the rustic log bed, catching your eye and stealing your heart! These sweet black bears guard you while you indulge in a great night’s sleep on the queen mattress. Throw open a window and let the fresh mountain air fill the room! The bedroom has a flat screen TV so you can watch without disturbing anyone else. There’s plenty of storage space, too, so you can unpack and feel right at home.

Kids and teens will love the fun bunk room. The bottom bunk is a full mattress, while the upper bunk is a twin bed. Grab some blankets and build a fort on the log bunks! The bunk room has its own TV, ample storage, a small seating area and big, bright windows.

A queen sleeper sofa provides extra sleeping space. The bathroom offers a shower and tub combo and is home to the full-sized washer and dryer, neatly hidden in their own alcove.

Game Room

French doors off the dining area reveal the game room, an enclosed porch loaded with fun. Brush up your skills for hours of play on the foosball table. Two video game consoles give you plenty of options including Pac-Man, Asteroids and other classic favorites. Nearby, a plushly upholstered chaise longue practically begs you to stretch out and nap in the sunshine.

Outdoor Spaces

Pour a glass of sweet iced tea. Head for the old-fashioned front porch and settle into a rocking chair. This porch stretches the length of the cabin and looks out over a lush, green yard and tall trees. Out back you’ll find seating, a gas grill and a stone fire pit. Roast marshmallows for luscious s’mores while you watch for wildlife in the woods around you.
