Charming cottage with spectacular view!

The cottage is small but the windows, vaulted ceiling and spacious front and back decks make it feel so much bigger. It was bright and spotlessly cleaned. Hoping to go back again next year.

Family gathering

We had a wonderful gathering with family coming from Ottawa and London for a long weekend. Consecon provided the perfect neet-up point. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well appointed and the lake view beautful and serene.

Quiet and Cosy with an Amazing View of the Lake

This place was perfect for us, two adults and one child, as it was close to North Beach. The cottage was cosy and nice to look at on the inside, with an amazing view of the lake from the back glass doors/deck. It was private and quiet. Beds were comfy too. The owner was easy to contact and very responsive. We highly recommend staying here and we hope to visit again.

I did not want to leave this beautiful place.

I just love Prince Edward County. Our cottage was so beautiful and peaceful and private and clean. The lake was absolutely gorgeous. With a stunning sunset view. Very comfortable place to stay on vacation Our Host Lynn was very easy to connect with. Looking forward to visiting again. Thank you.

Beautiful & perfect!

The place is gorgeous, make sure you bring insect spray because it is very much in nature. The steps are really easy to use, and my friends and I had a beautiful time. We were also able to get my friend's dog. I would appreciate basic cooking equipment like cooking oil, and more towels, but apart from that, the stay was fantastic.

Perfect getaway to the County

Our family of 5, including 3 boys 10 and under, absolutely loved this cottage. Perfectly located in close proximity to so many activities, water access for fishing, breathtaking sunsets, and a great size property, this cottage was all we needed. Lynn was prompt with her responses and had very clear communication. We will definitely be staying again. Our legs got a workout with those stairs to the water, but it’s worth it! Thanks, Lynn!

Family sized cottage for a relaxing vacation

Beautiful 3 bedroom cottage, fully air conditioned. Large living room and eat in dining room or enjoy your meals out on the deck overlooking the lake. If you like wildlife this is the place for you! Owner has thought of everything you need for a vacation. Secluded with picturesque view. Multiple decks for viewing the lake. Lake is accessible whether you want to fish, swim or kayak. ( kayaks are included ) Lakeshore is rocky so bring your water shoes! Fishing was great. 20 mins away from Sandbanks. Owner was extremely friendly and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

Très bien , belle emplacement Tout ce qu'il faut tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur même deux Kayak et veste de flotaison. Seul petit bémole est que la pompe à eau fait beaucoup de bruit et de vibration quand on utilise l'eau. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille !

Perfect Getaway

Lynn and Bill did an amazing job with this cabin, which is perfectly located in 'The County' surrounded by wineries a few minutes drive away in all directions. Perfect to just relax and put your feet up while looking out on the water. The only issue which is a quick fix was kitchen cleanliness, fridge and counter could have been checked, food waste removed and cleaned more thoroughly - just as means to provide an ease of mind as well. Me and my wife are particularly sensitive to general cleanliness right now, so that would be my only complaint.

Amazing weather in PEC.

Cottage was cozy and well equipped. The bed was comfortable. We needed to clean the refrigerator and dispose of the food which had been left inside. Enjoyed North Beach and Sandbanks. Great to see loons and pileated woodpecker from the back deck.

Fall break in the county.

We loved our experience at the cottage. It was the perfect location for our family to explore the county, and have a lovely cozy and clean and warm space to enjoy afterwards. Dog friendly which was perfect🥰 We cannot wait to return!

Short but wonderful stay!

Clean, sanitised and a very homely property with breathtaking view of the sunset and water. We will be back again, for sure! The beds are squeaky but other than that we had an awesome time!

Perfect!

This little cottage is perfectly located - a few minutes away from some of the best wineries, yet far enough from the hustle and bustle to really enjoy some peacefulness. Beautiful view and sunsets from the back deck, a cozy woodstove inside and a couple of chairs by the water to read a book on the very quiet Consecon lake.

a busy but relaxing 2 weeks

This place is suitable for 2 couples and a child. More can be accommodated but it would be a little tight. The cottage is well laid out and has everything you need unless you expect a dishwasher. It has two spacious decks, one in front overlooking the large front yard and one in the back with a beautiful view of the lake and sunsets. There is also a steep but newly constructed set of stairs to a deck right on the lake itself with a small beach. The water entry is rocky though. Overall we had a great time as the cottage is well situated to Sandbanks and North Provincial Park as well as many of the local Prince Edward County wineries. We took advantage of the nearby, superb Millennium Bike Trail. A pass was provided for access to the provincial parks. Bill the onsite manager took great care of us and supplied us regularly with drinking water as the well water is not potable. We also had fresh tomatoes, potatoes, and squash from the vegetable garden. Lots of birds to see as well and farms all around. We took advantage of the large selection of DVD's and indulged in a few Netflix offerings as well. We intend to return

Great Cottage!

My family of four had a wonderful time here. The property is just as advertised, and in fact, our experience exceeded expectations. Its a very cozy cottage, well-appointed and comfortable. We had beautiful sunsets from the back deck of the cottage. The lakeside deck is amazing, especially serene at night. The lake is quiet and pleasant to swim in (bring water shoes for the rocky shore and lake entrance). Be aware there is an epic staircase leading from the cottage to the shore - something like 100 steps and fairly steep, so not for the faint of heart or mobility-challenged. But its worth the climb. Location is excellent. We spent a couple days at Sandbanks park and it was really nice to have the parking pass provided to enter sandbanks so that we could skip the registration line. Lynn was responsive and helpful and a great host in every way. We would definitely return!

A great family get away

It was perfect for our family comprised of my partner and me, and adult children. We spent the day on the dock, in the water. Beautiful view, great swimming. The cottage was well appointed, with a well stocked kitchen. The deck was good for meals, although it was tight for 6 adults during COVID-19! Lynn was very helpful and answered our pre-arrival questions promptly. I would have liked a bit of direction on the garbage and recycling expectations, but otherwise we had no issues at all! We would definitely consider returning!

I have been spending summers at this property for more than 30 yrs. I love the peacefulness of the property and being away from the city. The view of the lake and the sunsets off the back deck are incredible.

Why they chose this property

Prince Edward County is a unique place in itself. There is lots to see and do here, beaches, winery's, unique shops, quaint towns, parks, drive in, biking, hiking etc. If you have never been to 'The County', it's well worth the visit.

What makes this property unique

This is a my personal property, I don't own multiple properties. It's a well maintained large one acre private property with waterfront access and gorgeous views of the lake. I have been told by many previous renters that the pictures do not do it justice.
