Log cottage located in quiet bay on clean Kawagama Lake (5th largest lake in region), with long views from dock. Nicely decorated thoughout, with cathedral ceilings, huge deck across entire front of cottage, great for outdoor dining.

Cottage located off of private road, on a large treed and completely level lot with beach waterfront. Ideal for kids of all ages. Close to marina, hiking trails, fishing and town events, all located within a 15 minute drive or 45 minute drive to Huntsville or Algonquin Park.

All around great holiday

We had an amazing week at this cottage. Cottage itself is great, nice flat property with dock and perfect for swimming. We loved the lake and Daniel was a fantastic host. He set everything up perfectly for us and was a treat to deal with. We will be back!

Good week!

Everyone enjoyed themselves whether we did something or not. The heat wave was a bummer. Few comments about wouldn't AC be nice now. Replaced it with swimming. We even found (eventually) the little hike to the Beaver Meadow. Good kitchen.

The cottage was comfortable. The owner was very helpful and concerned for our well being.

The cottage is near the community of Dorset, a pleasant little village. There is lots to see and do in the area.

We had an excellent experience and stay at the cottage. The cottage was very clean and well looked after and stocked with the essential non food things we would need! Sunny days in the lake and dock with lots of local hiking suggestions from Daniel!

My friends and family had a wonderful time at the cottage. The lake was beautiful and so clean. The area was great. Daniel was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

Fantastic Family Getaway!

We had an amazing time at Daniel's cottage! He was a great host to deal with and was very thorough at check- in making sure that we would be comfortable and have everything we needed. He was also instantly available by phone when we had a little glitch and he solved our problem immediately. The property has many great amenities including a pedal boat, paddle board, kayak, canoe and raft. The dock is fantastic with lots of sitting room and sun all day long (we did have perfect weather as an added bonus). The lake is wonderful and you can enter the water off the end of the dock as it is plenty deep or you can enter via the shoreline where you will find a great HARD SAND bottom (NO muck or yucky reeds). The views from the dock are beautiful. The cottage itself is extremely well equipped with everything you need for meal preparation and has an incredible number of movie selections (if the weather doesn't cooperate or kids just need a break from the sun). There is also a great deck for sitting outside for meals. Dorset is just a short drive away if you need groceries or an ice cream :) We would definitely rent this cottage again!
