Vacance

Great place for families!

Place was very clean and well kept. Lots of room for the 8 of us that stayed there. Gerry was great at quick responses when we had questions. Will definitely book again!

The location is the best part

I stayed in this cottage for 5 nights with my two daughters. It's condition is less than desirable. It needs a lot of fixing up before they should rent it out. The wooden deck is pealing apart and dangerous to walk on. The front door is hard to open and cannot lock from the inside. At night I had to go out a different door and lock ourselves in with the key. The sheets were full of stains. The pillows were flat as pancakes and there were only 7 for the whole house (each of my kids slept with two and I slept with three to be at a normal level). So I don't know how more than the three of us could have slept there. One of the four "bedrooms" is an extension of another bedroom. In the photos from the add there was a twin bed there. Now there is a couch. I tried to pull out the bed of the couch and the room is too small, so no one could have slept there. Another one of the "bedrooms" is an enclosed sun room with a futon. The room smells like mold, the carpet and the futon are full of stains. So in actuality there are only 2 bedrooms. There were hairs on the shower walls, broken kitchen drawer, and broken blinds all over the house. The fan in my bedroom was missing one of the blades. There were dead bugs in the house. There was fire pit in the yard that could have looked appealing to use if it didn't have a dirty diaper and empty beer cans in it. To sum up my experience, this cottage needs a lot of TLC. It has a lot of potential, but it should not be rented out in this condition.
