The music suite was nice and clean. Easy to get to Seattle and surrounding areas. Truly is part of the house but, host gave us our privacy.

The property was thrown together with leftover beds and other furnishings from a day gone by. I’m sure the toaster and microwave were placed where they were just to comply with Verbo’s requirements was well as the coffee machine in a totally different room, and there was no coffee or filters we could find anywhere.

Old and little privacy
This is basically a bedroom in an old house. The 'music studio' in the picture is not a private room without a door. Other guest or the owner's family, who lives one floor up, can walk in and look in to the room at any time.
While the owner was responsive, the stay had some unexpected issues. Every night, a male stranger (not the owner) would pass through the living area around midnight to wash vegetables, creating loud noise. If you've had a long trip or a busy day, this disruption could easily wake you up. This unexpected activity made the stay uncomfortable despite the owner's quick responses to our concerns.
Overall very clean, easy check in process and good parking. Driveway is very steep but short.
More bed pillows needed. I don’t know if I missed it in the description but this is a split level home. The living area and bathroom area is fully connected to the rest of the hosts home, no door or even a curtain. You can see directly to the front door so it does not feel private. I would recommend the host hangs some sound dampening curtains and puts up a room divider for future guests.
Thank you!

I was in town visiting family and looking for less expensive lodging than in the city of Seattle. I couldn't beat the price for what was offered!
It was just me so I didn't need both of the queen sized beds. But I basically had the entire downstairs, except for the laundry room, to myself. An open living room area as well as large bedroom with two beds. Small refrigerator was perfect; I didn't watch it but there is television in the room, my own bathroom. Worked out great for me! My hostess, Catherine, was delightful, kind and very accomodating. I will definitely rent this again shall I visit in the future.
This is a shared house with the owners, who have at least one small child. There was some noise during the day, but nothing troubling and everything got very quiet by 9pm. You can see up the stairway to the front door and the hostess needed to access the laundry room which is across the hall from the bedroom in which I was staying. But this never posed a problem for me as I was allowed to do a few loads of laundry at no additional charge. Major points!
I was quite delighted with my accomodations. The blackberry bushes along one side of the driveway were full of ripe blackberries during my stay and I was able to enjoy them anytime. Also, I didn't take advantage of it, but there was a drum set one could play during daytime hours, if one chose to partake.
All in all, a very pleasant stay for me, which was for 6 nights at the end of July, 2024. Thank you, Catherine!
