About the host
Hosted by Janette Weister
Welcome to our hideaway in Soldotna! At the heart of our passion lies a profound love for Alaska - its rugged beauty, untamed wilderness, and the serene charm of Soldotna.
Allow us to share a little bit about our wild bunch. There's Papa Bear, the retired military bear turned master chef of our kitchen; Mama Bear, the queen of organization and the heart of our home; and of course, our two, not-so-little cubs.

Why they chose this property
We love the unique charm of Soldotna. Being a short cast away from the Kenai River allows us to be close to all the fishing spots. We love our neighborhood and being on an acre at the end of the road means no traffic.
