The neighborhood is nice. It’s just a short distance from the beach I would never rent this place again. It’s in need of repairs, paint, window blinds that work or curtains on the windows, cleaning and an exterminator. I was told by the owner I’d receive my cleaning deposit back and to date that hasn’t happened either.
The location is so perfect for a family with young kids. Kelly Beach is an absolute dream, with nice sand, kid friendly waves and a tidal pool perfect for smaller kids. The neighborhood was picturesque and made for very enjoyable walks. The house was so clean and tidy and had all the creature comforts we needed. The only thing I wished was different was the couch, it is small. The house was sufficiently cool (AC worked very well) and the hostess was so kind and attentive and accommodating. We would come back in a heartbeat!
Very close location to are favorite RI beach, 5 min bike, 12 min walk. Owners very good communicators, comfy beds, everything you need for a great beach week. Brickley’s ice cream and Costal cabin delicious and walkable. We’ll be back!
What a pleasant stay my family and I had ar Bonnet Shores! The cottage was the perfect size for my one year-old to explore and get used to. Jeanne was such a great host in that she checked up on us numerous times throughout our stay, and even went out of her way to ensure that we were as comfortable as possible in her home. The cottage was in easy walking distance to the beach, and a quick drive to numerous to dine.
The weel we spent there was absolute pleasure!
This rental is lipstick on a pig. I can tell the owner might be trying to make it work but it isn't.
Numerous small issues with the house, doors that can't open, close need repair. Floor tiles that are loose or missing. Oversized beds for the room that they are in just so they can claim to sleep more people.
The location was great and the beach was perfect but too small of a house for the price and the number of people it was advertised to accommodate
The house is tiny (918 Sq. ft.) and old with no screens on the outside doors and two air conditioners for 4 bedrooms. It sleeps 7 but there are only 2 comfortable seats in the living room. The water photo with the car in the listing has no relation to the house. The half mile walk to the crowed, "private" beach was on a busy road with NO shoulder. Two inches from the white line was poison ivy on many parts of the roadside. None of the interior house doors fit properly. One bedroom was unusable because there was noise from a birds' nest in a vent above the ceiling . If you never need to open or close a door, this might be the place for you. The owner was very responsive but I wish she had written a more accurate description and had the doors fitted. Bonnet Shores is nice. The bay water was great. I liked the backyard, the double sink in the kitchen, the bathroom, the sheets and towels and the big driveway. The new table and chairs on the patio were good. We used the charcoal grill. I rented based on the stellar reviews, but that's not what we found.
Couldn’t have asked for a better place or host. Jeanne’s place was great and the private beach only a 10-12 minute walk was perfect. She was so easy to reach out to for anything, can’t recommend enough. In these strange times this gave me and my family a sense of normalcy!
We loved our stay in Narragansett. The house is well equipped and clean. The 12 minute walk to the private Kelly Beach was so worth it. The owner was always just a call away if you needed to ask a question. Centrally located to make day trips to Jamestown and Newport.

Darling Cottage! We loved it!
The cottage was darling. Well decorated and well cared for. It was a bit small, but my husband and I and our two teenage kids had plenty of room. It was very relaxing and very comfortable. We enjoyed having a yard and used the bar-be-cue and picnic table. It was tiny bit far from the beach, but it was walking distance and a relaxing walk. We enjoyed being away from the busy-ness of Newport, but close enough to drive over and enjoy it. The owner was fabulous to work with. It was a great week.

A little gem!
This little gem was just as it is described! It was perfect for our family of 4 - 2 adults 2 kids (11 & 8) They both has separate rooms and the master bedroom was huge! The laundry was a great bonus and
we couldn't believe how close we were to Kelly beach. Thank you for our stay and we look forward to coming back soon!

About the host
Hosted by Jeanne R
We have owned this property for fifteen years. We first vacationed in Narragansett and fell in love with the town, the beaches and the people. Our children have grown up in this home and love to return each summer. There are many things to do in the area besides the great beaches, such as kayaking , surfboarding, antiquing and sightseeing the mansions in Newport. Narragansett offers something for all ages.
What makes this property unique
The location is what makes this property unique. We are centrally located and not far from many attractions. Newport is a short 15 minute drive . Providence is 1/2 hour with great shops and good food. And the beaches are some of the most beautiful anywhere . Newport is a 15 minute car ride where you can explore the historic mansions in a quaint city.
