About this property
Pioneer Log Cabin | Historic | Built in 1865
The Pioneer Cabin, an enchanting log and rock cottage circa 1865, is part of a complex of historic buildings that were home to four generations of the same Texas family. This hill country bed and breakfast is furnished in wonderful 18th and 19th century country antiques and textiles. A fireplace in the master bedroom, a 40 foot long stone porch filled with rockers and a swing, adds charm to this historic home. The Pioneer is surrounded by a long corn crib, log smokehouse and massive stone barns.
