It has some excellent displays. The Battle that took place there is the historical setting for the movie “The Field of Lost Shoes.”

Your four-legged friends don't have to miss out on the fun while you are exploring. They will enjoy playing in the fenced-in yard with lots of stuff to sniff and investigate :)

I'll do my best to be available during regular business hours and will try to respond to emergencies outside of business hours in a prompt manner. I have four kids and also run a music studio, so life can get busy at times! Thank you in advance for your patience!

The cabin is surrounded by woods and fields. The town of Edinburg is extremely convenient and the Dollar General has most things most people will need, should you find you have forgotten a tooth brush or deodorant or just want some creamer for your morning coffee.

Uber and Lyft maybe available in the area if you schedule them in advance, but the best way to explore the area's attractions is with your own vehicle. You'll be glad to have your own wheels when you start exploring the beautiful byways of the Shenandoah Valley. There is room in the driveway and parking area for several vehicles.

Check in is at 4:00 pm and check out is at 10:00. These times are fixed. The cleaners keep a very tight schedule and make their plans around this six hour window. Out of respect to them, I cannot make exceptions to these times.

Please also note that as a small business, I am not able to grant last-minute refunds, so I highly recommend protecting your investment with travel insurance.

We'd love to invite you to make use of the instant book feature. If you aren't ready to book yet, you can always bookmark this house by clicking the heart symbol in the upper right corner. Even if you don't end up staying with us, by 'hearting' the house you still help us out :)

Wonderful getaway!
Dolly and her husband were very sweet and were quick to answer any questions or concerns that I had regarding the property. Weeks before my day as well as during my stay. It was the perfect size for all of my family who came to visit me as well as a fantastic location to have my daughter’s first birthday party. Hi, I'm Dolly! Wife, mommy, entrepreneur, Christ-follower. Like the more famous Dolly, I'm a musician. I'm also a veteran and I love to travel! When you stay with me, I want you to feel the comforts of home while traveling and making great vacation memories. Great, lifetime memories is what I want you to take with you after your visit! If there's anything I can do to make your stay better, let me know!

When you stay with me, you will be supporting a woman-owned, veteran-owned and minority owned small business

Why they chose this property

There are few places on earth more pleasant than the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, with the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Shenandoah River; the towns, the farms, and the fields. The hills and the "hollers". Where life is old, as John Denver said.

What makes this property unique

Design. We've had many guests say that the cabin feels like living in a forest of western red cedar. It certainly is a one of a kind location.

Charm. We have tried not to overlook any space inside or outside this home and I'm sure you will find that it is full of thoughtful touches to make your stay a magical and memorable experience.

Love. My family loves this home and we have put some of our heart and soul into it. We also love sharing it and we promise to do our best to make your stay there special.

Unique benefits:

When you stay with us, you will be supporting a woman-owned, veteran-owned, minority-owned small business.

We are proud of our commitment to always pay cleaners and other workers a living wage.
