Yikes, as a courtesy, I sent the owner a copy of my review in advance, his reply included the following: “We absolutely know, and have the expertise to apply the law with regard to any inessential negative feedback , and warn that we will legally pursue anyone who lodges a review that crosses the defamation line in the manner of some your proposed comments. We urge that it would be very unwise and costly for you to vent disgruntlement in such a manner on any public forum.”
So…. I will caveat this review by saying that it is my opinion based on the collective experiences (over 15 years renting staying at vacation homes in Orlando) of two families.

This has been one of my worst rental experiences and next time I will definitely look elsewhere. In addition to the problems outlined below, for the same amount or less I could have found a much better property.
1. The internet crapped out a significant amount of time. Aside from dropping connection, there were many times it would not connect.
2. The owner programmed the thermostat so the default temperature was as follows: at 830 AM the temperature switched to 78, at 630 PM to 76 and at 1030 PM to 74. -
3. High level of monitoring done by owner include surveillance of parts of the pool deck, collecting logs, etc.
4. Cleanliness and maintenance needs to be improved (garbage in cans stinky night stands, toilets backing up, 2 broken showers)
5. Owner wanted work done that should be included in cleaning fee (stripping beds – laundry). If you comply your security deposit could be impacted
All in all, this property did not serve our purpose and throughout the stay I did not feel warm and welcomed. I will definitely look elsewhere next time
