Escape the winter blues at our charming tiny home, the perfect haven for relaxation and warmth.
● Snuggle up by the indoor fireplace, soak your cares away in the steaming hot tub, or gather around the outdoor firepit under a blanket of stars.
● Convenient access to Vermilion, Oberlin College, Amherst and Cleveland.
● Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful solo retreat, this cozy escape offers everything you need to unwind and embrace the season. The sleeping arrangements are comfortable, and the space is ideal for couples or friends seeking a getaway.
• We provide privacy while still allowing guests to enjoy the beauty of our property.
• Our friendly dogs and free-range poultry adds a charming touch to the rural experience.
•Our property is a wonderful escape for those looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.
▪︎Want to fish for Lake Erie Perch and Walleye? There is room to park your boat.
• Enjoy deer watching in the evening and early morning in the back fields.
▪︎We are an active farm. You will see farm equipment and tree logs around the side of the property. We use the logs to heat all of our buildings in the winter.
☆☆☆The stairs to the bedroom loft are steep and may be physically challenging to some people. The bedroom loft ceiling height is also low.☆☆☆
• Due to the high bedroom loft and steep steps, this may not be ideal for small children. However, we do have gates upon request and the top rails are 2 inches higher than code.
•We have two large dogs, free range chickens, and ducks. We prefer no pets but will take certain circumstances in to consideration.
•There is a gate under the patio to keep our animals out of your patio and backyard space.
•We are an active husbandry and apiary farm. You may be visited by friendly chickens and ducks. The beehive is far away from the tiny guest house.
•There is also some wildlife who have been seen roaming around the farmlands and deer who like to run across our property.

Christmas joy abounded in this charming guesthouse, replete with holiday lights, warmth, and splendid hosts. The chickens and ducks greeting us upon arrival and enthusiastically so afterwards added to this unique experience. Rural Ohio at its best!!!
The house was cozy and very clean. The pictures posted were accurate. The host and hostess were very friendly and courteous. My friend and I plan to visit again soon.
We had a fun and relaxing weekend.
We really enjoyed our stay, the place was perfect and so adorable. The ducks and chickens were so cute, and the fresh eggs that were provided was very thoughtful. The property is very clean and cozy. I would recommend staying here, I will definitely be back if I am in the area again.
Clean, comfortable, and quiet in a peaceful setting. Host left us fresh eggs and honey, which were delicious, as well as other treats. Clear and kind communications. Pleasant stay.

About the host
Hosted by Maureen Crawford
We (myself and my husband Brad) are from this county. We moved our family to this area in 2017. Brad owns a company where he does custom carpentry restorations to items specifically in older homes. I have a talent with décor and staging. Together we make magic to making homes more beautiful. We love offering community service to help those in need. We love being hosts because we love making people happy. We offer and created a uniqueness that we haven't even seen with our travels. We love meeting and learning from our guests from every aspect of life.
Why they chose this property
This is a 6.5 acre property surrounded by acres and acres of farmland that offers the most beautiful sunsets. It is a haven for us to come to and found family and friends visiting here for the same peace and serenity. We built our "tiny" guest house to offer a place for peace and relaxation for guests and love hearing the amazing feedback of the experiences and memories we provide for them. Although we are just outside the perimeters of the city, we love the country life feel of this neighborhood. The neighbors are spread apart yet, amazing people.
What makes this property unique
Our property stands out from the rest because we built it ourselves creating a tiny barndominium style guest house. It has unique vintage-style finishes and décor while having some modern comforts of comfortable furniture, TV, wifi, and fully stocked kitchen, and hot tub. Our favorite pieces are the tin ceilings we purchased from an 1850s barn, and the faux tin shower with a rain showerhead. We enclosed the outside to enhance our guests privacy. This home feels like a mini getaway and a home away from home.
