About this property

Welcome to York Beach, Maine. Our home has all the amenities your family is searching for when looking for that relaxing family vacation; it is a space that is less 5 minutes away from York Harbor Beach, the Cliff Walk, the York Golf & Tennis Club, the Wiggly Bridge, the York River & dozens of local eateries. Less than 5 minutes beyond those locations you can enjoy soaking up the sun at the famous Long Sands Beach or strolling through timeless downtown York Maine.

With 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a living room, kitchen, mudroom, dining room, and a large (20'x15') three seasons room, there is ample space for you to host your next family vacation. The kitchen features new stainless steel appliances, with a coffee maker, ice maker and toaster at your disposal. The entire home has been retrofitted with new paint, hardwood floors, marble countertops, ship lap walls, and smart technologies (Alexa, outdoor ring cameras, smart locks, smart switches, etc).

The large lush backyard features seasonal grape vines, pear trees, apple trees and a wealth of wildlife. Situated just a few hundred feet from the York River, there is an ever changing sense of the outdoors around you. Also, be sure to bring your fishing pole, both the river and the beaches are an exciting & memorable place to throw in your line.

It should also be noted that the home is handicap friendly. There is a wide ramp that leads from the driveway to 1st floor of the home. Additionally, there is a 1st floor bedroom with a full bathroom and 32'' x32'' standup shower adjacent to that bedroom. If either you or someone in your party has mobility issues, these are a few of the features the home has to help make your stay more comfortable.

Family vacation in York

We had a great week in Maine! The house was very clean and the hosts Mike & Stephanie were fantastic. Check in was easy and host provided a cell phone number so we could easily reach them. The house is a very short drive to all main attractions (York Harbour Beach, Long Sands Beach, Short Sands Beach, Fisherman’s Walk, Wiggly Bridge, Nubble Lighthouse, Mount Agamenticus). Very convenient. Ogonquit is about a 15 minute drive from the house if you prefer dining in a larger town. We recommend this property and would rent again!

Beautiful updated home…..

This home was exactly as described and better. We enjoyed the updated, clean and comfortable space. The back screened in porch was a relaxing hang out. (There are 2 comfortable chairs, you will want to bring a couple of lawn chairs to relax in if you have a few people in your party) The neighborhood is very quiet and provided a relaxing space and we were only 15 minutes from the beaches of York. The owners were very attentive to a few small asks and terrific to deal with. All in all you won’t be disappointed.
