Nestled in the heart of Bryson City, Goldilocks Cozy Hideaway awaits families seeking a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. This peaceful mountain vacation home is more than just a place to stay; it's a delightful retreat where every moment is an invitation to relax and bask in the beauty of nature. As you step into our home, you're greeted by a warmth that feels just right – not too big, not too small, but perfect for creating unforgettable memories with your loved ones.
The space:
From the inside and outside, Goldilocks Cozy Hideaway has a lot to offer. Enjoy the spacious outdoor seating on the porch or just a few feet away at the fire pit. On the porch you will find a Blackstone grill ready for cooking out and a relaxing hot tub. The home comfortably accommodates space for up to 6 guests. Inside, we have several board games, DVD movies, Foosball and wall tik-tac-toe for the younger guests. Ceiling fans in each bedroom and living room. The primary bedroom has a king size bed with 3" memory foam topper and bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bathroom has a shower/ bathtub and an area with the washer and dryer. The second bedroom has a full size and a twin bed. Third bedroom has a queen size bed along with sliding doors to the backyard. Inside there will be plenty of space to dine in the spacious dining area or counter area. Backyard has a small rope fenced pond, please enter pond area at your own risk. Watch children at all times.

Home is conveniently about 10 minutes from downtown, 25 minutes to the famous Harrah's Cherokee Casino. Also minutes away from whitewater rafting, zip lining and lots of other outdoor experiences.

Guest access:
Guest have access to the entire house except the storage room inside the second bathroom.

Other things to note:
A starter amount of bathroom tissue, paper towels and trash bags will be provided. You may also find a few staple items in the kitchen such salt/black pepper, oil and foil.

For many people, the fragrances and chemicals in certain shampoos and body Wash, may cause an allergic reaction, Therefore we do not provide.

Please note that though we offer Starlink internet service, we are located in a rural area and the internet connectivity may pose a challenge. We unfortunately are not able to offer any technical support if there is an issue. Therefore, as the WI-Fi service is provided free of charge, we cannot offer a refund of any kind for service interruptions including streaming services. Mother Nature can control electric outages and that includes internet outages.

This is our much loved older home in the woods near a National Park. Please be aware you may see wildlife in the yard and the occasional nature's local resident making an indoor appearance. Even with the best of attempts to keep them at bay. Nature may find it's way indoors even in a spotlessly clean home.

Carpenter bees love cabins and wooden structures!. We treat to help minimize the bees. A bit of information : Carpenter bees are beneficial pollinators. The females have a stinger but very unlikely to sting unless you PROVOKE them. Male Carpenter bees do not possess a stinger. The bees emerge in the spring. “The females are discreet, sneaking in and out of their holes. But the males are territorial. You’ll see them hovering around, battling and chasing each other.

**SMOKING : Please help us keep our home smoke free. Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the home this includes E-Cigarettes. We have no objection to you smoking in the designated Firepit area or away from open windows or doors. We ask that you put cigarette completely out all the way and please dispose in trash receptacle and not on grounds.

We do not provide firewood. If you would like to purchase a bundle please let us know before your arrival and we will arrange to have it delivered. Firewood may also be available at nearby stores and gas station.

We provide a propane gas Blackstone Griddle.
Grill away, but please give it a clean before the end of your stay and make sure propane tank is shut-off after every use.

No animals allowed. Assistance animals included due to a member of our maintenances team severe allergies to animal dander.

**Recording devices/Security Cameras:
We have two external security cameras/recording devices located #1) located above the front door monitoring the front entrance and driveway
#2) in the backyard located over( near) the sliding door, that monitors the door & side of the property towards hill/pond.
