Our delightful A-frame cabin is on the upslope, with three levels of serene treetop views. Surrounded by majestic pines and grandmother oaks, the cabin offers plenty of space indoors and outdoors for everyone.
Nearby local activities provide summer fun and winter play, including Skypark at Santa’s Village, Snow Valley Ski Resort, Lake Arrowhead, Lake Gregory, Big Bear Lake, Heaps Peak, Keller Peak, the Children’s Forest, a wonderful farmer’s market on Saturdays, local shops and restaurants, and much more! You can create a masterpiece meal in the kitchen or BBQ on the wraparound deck, mix a cocktail or hot cocoa, and relax and unwind in many cozy spaces. Enjoy a cozy fire in the living room, play a game with family, and stay in touch with free wi-fi. You’re not likely to get bored at the Hideaway, but if you do, there are plenty of spaces to take a nap.
The main floor offers open space for gathering inside and out. You’ll find a spacious kitchen and dining area with everything you need to feel at home, the living room with a gas fireplace, along with the first queen bedroom and full bathroom (with heated floors). The large deck with BBQ and a dining set are right outside, along with another gas fire pit and restful seating areas to star watch.
Downstairs you’ll find plenty more room to rest and play, with another queen bedroom, another full bathroom, and the laundry room. The den welcomes you with a redwood bar and wet bar area, a large workspace with plenty of outlets and USB ports, and a sleeper sofa- this is a great space to enjoy your favorite game on TV, get some work done, or just head out to the lower covered porch for some fresh air.
Last, but definitely not least, you’ll love the large loft which has plenty of room for kids (and kids at heart) to sleep and hang out. Here you can find a classic novel in our vintage library, secret away in the “nook,” lounge comfortably, and enjoy a birds-eye view of great-grandmother oak and her many friends (so many birds, squirrels, and more).
