Beautiful large home

We enjoyed our stay at St George Manor. Beautiful home, rooms arranged well for large group. Has just about all you will need for a great vacation. Pool area was awesome. Would recommend and would stay again.

Great property. Spacious, clean, private with easy access to Disney, Universal and Orlando International. While we had a few initial hiccups due a world wide communications meltdown, the property manager stepped in personally sent us the access code information and then was in constant communications during our stay

Perfect location

We arrived shortly after a hurricane for a conference. The location of the house was perfect for our stay. The house does need a little updating and a thorough cleaning but I still give it 5 stars as they may not have had enough time after the storms for better preparation and cleaning. The beds were very comfortable and the back area was enjoyable in the evenings. We only got in the pool and hot tub 1 evening and were a little surprised that to turn the heat on was an additional fee of $45 per day. The stove only had 1 large burner and the knob was broken so we had to burn a paper towel in order to ignite the burner. Overall, the location and size of the house was what we required. I imagine most that are staying are off to the Disney and universal parks or at a conference like us so I would still recommend this house.

8 guys on a golf trip for a week and the house was great. Chris, the owner stopped in and was delightful. The house is big, comfortable and nicely appointed. We will come back!

Perfect vacation destination!

Our family came from 3 different states to enjoy a week together for a pre-wedding celebration. Everything about our stay was PERFECT! The house was large enough for us to enjoy our own space while still being together for the week. The outdoor area was magnificent!! The beautiful pool & the amount of lounge chairs and eating areas outside provided the perfect place for us to gather, swim, eat, and just generally hang out together. The location was great, just a few miles from Disney & Universal Studios and getting an Uber was never an issue. Our stay could not have been more wonderful and we hope to be able to return again!!

Superb villa extravaganza!

We spent 4 days in Orlando , two familys with 4 children each. from Sweden.The moment we entered we were stunned with this house! We really felt like kings and queens, the house is in excellent condition and nicely decorated.Big comfortable beds, with tv in each room. Playing things for the kids, cinema, pool table. We made dinner ourselves in the fully equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed staying in this house, and we will come back.

Private Oasis!

From the moment we walked through the front door we were welcomed by the serenity this home has to offer. We were greeted by Dee the Housing manager and given a brief tour and tutorial of the home. We were a party of 16 adults and to say that we had more than enough space for all of us is an understatement. Not one time did we feel crowded. The home is well appointed and has all of the comforts of home. The pool and lanai are a tropical dream come true! Our group spent a week of relaxation and unwinding at this home and would definitely stay in this home again!

Great property and location

My family and I stayed at St George’s in June. There were a total of 8 adults and 8 kids (my grandchildren). The house was the perfect size for us and we made good use of the space. The house was large enough that no one felt on top of each other. Some of the kids got up early but we never really heard them. They especially loved the theater room which is a very well done space. Outside pool area was great and I felt more like I was at a resort instead of in a home. Spa was also a really big hit with everyone. Overall very nice layout and a great time. The manager (Dee) was very helpful and responsive. We had an issue gaining access to the home upon arrival and she got back to us within minutes. She also checked in with us the next day to make sure everything was fine. Plus house is very close to all the Disney parks. Will definitely be back when we visit again.

30th Anniversary

This was an amazing house to stay at. It was beautiful and spotless and even tho you were really just half a mile from one of the main roads, you felt secluded when you were enjoying the amenities of the home. We had our 2 disable adult children in wheelchairs so it was wonderful to have space to have both chairs in one room much less having space in every room in the house. Usually when we come to Orlando we have to rent either 2 rooms or a suite and it's still crowded with both chairs. And there was plenty of space for all our family members helping us with our children for us to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We had all ages from teens to seniors and this house brought everyone together! Teens and grandparents watched movies together in the theater room on several occasions. The pool was my children's favorite with the shallow beach entry so they could just sit and spash. Some of the teen boys fished in the pond in the back and caught 2 fish! We had to drag them away from the pond. The biggest hit of the home was the gameroom and pool table. The teens were basicly living there playing billards and the adults congregated around to watch and sometimes play. Everyone in our party says this was the best vacation because we were all together and got to enjoyed being together-especially since we all live in different states. No one had to call from one hotel room to another and plan to meet up. We were able to eat together and play together! Thanks for an amazing vacation!

More Cons than Pros

This house was not clean well. Under wear left under BR down stairs. Big Mouse Trap under bed In MBR. Two Mouse traps in Wash room. Roach in LR, Roach in MBR shower, Roach came out of dryer, Roach in another BR They should call Exterminator. Two eyes on gas stove didn't work. Office closed on weekends. Movie room TV wouldn't play. Manager came to change cord out. . Owners require you to wash towels and remove sheets. We paid a hefty clean up fee. Why should we be required to do that? Was not told that until the day of check in. We didn't wear our shoes indoor, yet my feet was black after walking on the floor. Liquor bottle and used Mask left in Pool area .UGH! Took 40 min to get in Gate due to one person being let in at a time .Line was backed up. One Car ran through gate and broke Gate rail. We were all glad about that because the traffic begin to flow. Rented a place before and didn't have any of these problems or compaints.

Fabulous Outdoors / Pool

We were a party of 10 adults (5 elderly) in town to get together, so our primary reasons for booking this house were its size and its outdoor living space. For this, the outdoor space is fabulous. The pool is as stunning in person as in the photos and it was immaculately clean. We loved the waterfalls! There are lots of pool towels for use and plenty of chairs and tables. We were disappointed that the outdoor fireplace was not working. The inside is also grand and there are many ‘nooks and crannies’ to retreat to. There is your usual 'wear and tear' of a rental property and some mold in the showers. The refrigerator is missing all but one of the door shelves, which if you are cooking in for 10 adults makes a difference in storage capacity. There are two other beverage coolers, thankfully that helped. The kitchen is well stocked with the exception of any Tupperware, there is none of that. There are plenty of large baking dishes and two crock pots which we put to use. The walk in shower in the handicapped bathroom leaks all over the floor, which was a hazard for the elderly that we had put in that room. They ended up having to go across the hall which was inconvenient. The Theater is lovely; however, note that you cannot connect to the internet to use your streaming services. Owners are very communicative regarding the booking and the Property Manager was very responsive when called upon. There is ample shopping and dining very close by.

The house exterior and general interior were very impressive. Close inspection of the interior of the house and exterior entrance and patio areas were somewhat disappointing as the furniture in many areas was dusty, specifically in the living room, master bathroom (downstairs), the Dragon Den (especially the windowsill had bugs and cobwebs). The water in the shower of the ADA room over ran the shower floor causing a tedious mess. The garbage/trash cans were full Sunday, May1, and was fodder for the many visits from the resident raccoon. The patio umbrella should be replaced as it is faded with ragged folds and the front porch furniture is also faded and worn. The televisions including cinema were not working properly and caused much frustration to be connected to the cable/internet system even requiring a couple of clarifying conversations with Dee. Our group made the most of the visit and enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous stay for our family vacation

This rental was everything we hoped for! From the second we walked in, we were in awe of this gorgeous house and it's amenities. The house was spacious and fit our large group comfortably. It definately did not feel like we had 18 people staying in the house! But the best part was the backyard and pool area. Even with the heat, the screened in area over the pool stayed nice and comfortable to relax if you were not in the pool or spa on our warm days. Plenty of sitting or lounge chairs to go around as well as pool towel holders which were a nice touch. This is where we spent most of our vacation and it was perfect. The owners were also excellent with communication from booking to our stay for the week. Can't wait to vacation here again in the future.

I have to admit that I wondered if the property would be as awesome as the VRBO description. It was, and the owners are engaged, and want the customers to be satisfied. Fantastic property, only 5 miles from the Disney Experience. Great neighborhood, quiet and homes are well kept and the sidewalks and streets are great. Highly recommend to those that want an above average accomodation, with great value.

Amazing, simply the best

There is only one word tp describe this beautiful house "WOW". We loved everything, especially the magical balcony, pool, and surroundings. The location could not be bettered. So close to everything, and yet we felt we were in the countryside. Very well equipped and furnished, GREAT BEDS. St Georges was very clean and the owner nd manager couldn't have been more helpful. We had relatively short stay to see how we liked it and will certainly be booking a longer trip next time

Family Christmas Vaca in Paradise

We loved staying in this beautiful home. Location is perfect ! minutes from all Disney parks. The pool is an oasis, the pictures don't do it justice, lots of room for relaxing. So many gathering places from the game room upstairs playing pool. to the huge theatre room playing games and watching movies together. the owners and property manager have been wonderful to work with. any questions are quickly answered. We will definitely rent this home next year!!

When not in Florida or Spain we live in the bustling village of Birchington-on Sea, Kent in Great Britain.

Why they chose this property

We knew this particular plot was magical the moment we stepped on to the virgin soil. So close to Theme Parks etc yet you feel you are in the middle of peaceful countryside and surrounded by lakes. It took 5 years in the planning and building with love. The magic just gets better over the years and the surroundings mature wonderfully.

Our guests can enjoy a magical vacation with everything a family could possibly need and want.

What makes this property unique

Despite it's vast size, St Georges retains a homely feel. There are plenty of areas for large groups to gather, but also spaces to sit quietly away from everyone. Our guests love the fantastic location in Formosa Gardens - just a few minutes from Disney World and opposite MargaritaVille with it's quaint village atmosphere, terrific restaurants and cafes, multi screen dine in cinema. We strive for a quick response time to each and every question and request. St George's Manor makes a wonderful venue for conferences weddings and family celebrations.
