About this property
Bovina Post, A Stylish 3 Bedroom Nostalgic Stay
Welcome to Bovina Post – Your Upstate Summer Escape
Welcome to Bovina Post, a warm and welcoming retreat in the heart of upstate New York. This charming, historic home is the perfect place for families and friends to reconnect, relax, and recharge. With three comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, and cozy, thoughtfully decorated spaces, you’ll feel instantly at home.
Whether you’re here for long summer days, peaceful country nights, or a quick weekend away, The Bovina Post offers comfort, charm, and easy access to everything the Catskills have to offer.
A Home with History and Heart
Originally built as a parsonage and later home to the town post office, this 3-bedroom, 2-bath village home is filled with character. Lovingly restored and decorated with a mix of vintage charm and modern touches, it’s a unique and soulful space that welcomes guests of all ages.
You’ll find high-quality linens from Brooklinen and Casper on every bed, and special details throughout—from a screened sleeping porch to a hidden game den and even a popcorn station in the kitchen.
Sleep Soundly
All bedrooms are equipped with Casper mattresses, pillows, and soft, hotel-quality linens to ensure a restful night.
Main Floor Bedroom – Queen bed, closet, and dresser (note: there’s a step down into this room)
The Pink Room (Upstairs) – Full bed, plus a magical walk-in closet turned sleepover nook with a full-size mattress, fairy lights, and Bluetooth projector
Brown Room (Upstairs) – Spacious king bed, walk-in closet, and dresser
There’s also a full-size daybed on the screened sleeping porch, offering lovely views of the backyard and open fields—a true hidden gem for naps, reading, or summer stargazing.
Bathrooms
The downstairs bathroom features a walk-in tiled shower.
Upstairs, you’ll find a vintage 1950s tub/shower combo with bright jade-green tile that adds just the right amount of retro charm.
Inside Bovina Post
You’ll enter the home through a sweet screened side porch, perfect for sipping coffee or catching a summer rainstorm. The kitchen is a food lover’s dream with everything you need for cooking and entertaining—including a sushi-making kit, cocktail tools, and a popcorn station. No microwave here, but we promise you won’t miss it.
The dining room is set up for shared meals and celebrations, complete with proper glassware for every toast. Connect your phone to the Bluetooth speaker, spin a record on the turntable, and set the mood.
In the living room, cozy up on the sectional sofa and stream your favorite shows on the Smart TV. If you’re in the mood for gaming, there’s an Xbox and an adjoining game den with magnetic wall games and plush seating.
The former post office space has been transformed into a whimsical bedroom with bold wallpaper, a dimmable pendant light, and total relaxation vibes.
Outdoor Living
Morning sun greets the front porch, while the back deck is set up for evening BBQs and outdoor dining. Roast marshmallows around the fire pit, play games on the lawn, or simply unwind beneath the stars.
The property features a shaded backyard, beautiful views of neighboring fields, and a peaceful setting perfect for slowing down. Street parking is available just across from the house.
The Neighborhood
Located in the quaint village of Bovina Center, The Bovina Post is just steps from country roads and walkable destinations including:

Avoiding 2WD or RWD vehicles in icy or snowy conditions
The driveway is plowed and shoveled to the door. We provide a snow shovel just in case.
