Some of the more popular attractions close to this property are:

Fightingtown Creek Nature Park (hiking/mountain biking) - 17 minutes - 7.5 miles
Mercier Orchard - 18 minutes - 9.6 miles
Bear Claw Vineyards - 17 minutes - 8.5 miles
Cowgirl Up Stables - 9 minutes - 3.9 miles

Access is via paved roads, just off Old Highway 2 until you reach the gravel access road. The gravel access road is about 1 mile in distance and easy to navigate with a few bumps along the path that are typical with mountain gravel roads except for the last short distance of about ⅛ mile, it does start to have some stepper inclines at the end. If you are not use to driving on gravel roads, with inclines, we recommend an AWD or 4x4 vehicle. Some front wheel vehicles will make it but from experience we do not recommend attempting it in a minivan or passenger van. The key is keeping the vehicle moving and stay to the topside of the roads and not cutting the road with sharp turns.

Guest Access:
Access is via keyless entry. A check-in code will be provided 1 day prior to arrival. Checkout code will be provided the day before with instructions.

The entire cabin is available to the guest with the exception of the owner's closet and garage.

The Neighborhood:

Beautiful view with all the amenities

This is a very nice property with an amazing view. Everything was neat and organized. We enjoyed playing cards at the card table as well as air hockey, and enjoyed watching movies at night on the smart tv in the main living room. The cabin was nicely updated and had everything to meet our needs. There are a few issues we ran into during our stay. The gravel road hill leading up to the cabin was extremely challenging to drive up (and we've stayed at a lot of cabins over the years with gravel roads). We got stuck three times trying to get up the road. After calling (Karen was very helpful), the guidance of keeping steady helped us get to the top but was definitely stressful. We also had an ant issue. We had some closed jars that were on top of the island ledge that somehow got covered in ants. We dealt with the issue but not sure where they came from. The hot tub could use some steps as a safety precaution. My husband had to help me in so I didn't fall. Outside of that, the cabin had amazing sunrise views with lots of entertainment.
