Montego Cottage is an original Jamaica Beach “fishing shack” from the 1960’s. Maintaining that funky vibe, it boasts an electric mix of local art, a curious collection of books and whimsical decor.

This canal front cottage features a cozy atmosphere. Large windows providing ample natural light, creating a airy and and inviting atmosphere. The living area includes ample seating, built in kids’ bunks and double futon. The bedroom includes queen bed and full bath. The kitchen is equipped with all essentials for preparing meals during your stay. drip coffee maker, microwave, fridge, stove, and cookware. Double doors from the living area open onto a spacious deck ( partially covered)overlooking the canal, perfect for outdoor relaxation. The outdoor seating and built in dinette are cantilevered over the canal.
Lower level provides outdoor space by the water and dock with a shaded seating area - swing, picnic table ,charcoal BBQ grill and outdoor shower. Additionally, fishing enthusiasts will appreciate the opportunity to fish right off the dock, adding an extra element of relaxation and recreation to their stay at the Montego Cottage. Whether you're planning a family vacation, a romantic getaway, or a solo retreat, this canal front house in Jamaica Beach offers a peaceful retreat and laid back vibe..

Short golf cart ride to the beach!
Jamaica Beach Community Amenities: Neighborhood park and community pool(daily fee for pool) - paid directly at the pool. Open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Public Boat Launch that requires a launch pass - $12/day and can be paid and picked up at our office. Let us know if you're planning on brining your boat and we can arrange this for you prior to your arrival. Guests can explore local attractions, including beautiful beaches, nature parks, local shops and restaurants. Short golf cart ride to the beach!

Cozy with plenty of space
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The upstairs is the rental area. One bedroom/one bath, but it has a cozy feel not a cramped feel. We enjoyed the swing near the water and the outdoor table on the deck. Perfect for a couple of relaxing days.
