Relax with the whole family at this peaceful little cabin on Lake Wissota. Float and play in the lake with a sandy bottom shoreline and a raft for jumping and cannon balls. Take the 2 kayaks out to visit the mermaid on Mermaid Island. Or paddle a little further and enjoy the beauty of Paint creek. Go by boat or car to the many restaurants around the lake. Hang out at Rays Beach down the block. Enjoy our many hiking and biking trails, wineries, breweries, river tubing, live music, apple orchards and more. Sleep soundly on brand new mattresses and bedding with black out curtains for sleeping in. Fully stocked kitchen with all sparkly new appliances, cookware, and dishes. The patio features a new grill and pub table for cook outs. End your day enjoying s'mores and drinks around the fire pit that overlooks the lake.

Beautiful Gem!
Outstanding! Owners were very open & responsive to communication before and during stay. Home is beautiful! Lake-view is beautiful! Wonderfully shaded, private road. There is a pier on the property to dock your boat; public boat launch less than 1 mile away. Don't have a boat? Less than 2 miles away, there is a place to rent fishing or pontoon boats for very low prices. The location feels remote. Casual & formal dining within a half mile, anything else is less than 10 minutes away. The pictures will never do this beautiful rental justice!

Great little getaway Vacation
Overall great vacation. Very clean, updated and spacious inside property. Property well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy almost a week away. A lot to do around Lake Wassota and Chippewa Falls! Property owner was very communicative and helpful with unpredictable health challenges and things to do in the area! Rented a pontoon from Wassota Lodge! Only two negatives for us stairs to the dock and cabin is close to neighbors. Hoping to book this stay for a future vacation!

Cabin on Lake Wissota
This property and cabin are absolutely wonderful! The cabin was extremely clean, organized and efficient. It was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. All appliances were new, the beds were comfortable and it felt like we were staying at home instead of away. The view from the cabin windows was beautiful in itself but there are nice steps that lead you down to the dock and floating platform where the view is spectacular. There is a fire pit that is stocked with wood and very nice gas grill as well, there are also nice Adirondack chairs for gathering by the fire pit and also some available by the water. The cabin is located a short walk to restaurants and a grocery store which made it very convenient. The owner, Jenn, was extremely pleasant and very easy to communicate with. She made sure to let us know that if we needed something to let her know. I highly recommend this lovely property, one of the best we have rented to date and we will be returning soon! Mary J.
