About this property

The Teller House at Coal Creek

Stay in one of the most unique buildings in Rocky Top, TN - in the addition to the Bank Building from 1900, where the Teller of the Bank used to live.

This unique property has been carefully renovated to include all the modern amenities yet displaying its old time charm from an era when it served as the Tellers house for first bank of Rocky Top. Imagine the place how it was in the days gone when the coal miners came by horseback to deposit their hard earned money!

The location is very convenient to Briceville and Beech Grove and you can ride your vehicles directly from "The Bank" to the trails of Windrock. Once unloaded, you never have to load your gear again until you have to go home.

The living space has a nicely furnished living room with a comfy sofa and chair and a large Roku TV.
A roll in bed can be brought in to accommodate an additional guest or child.

In the adjacent bedroom is comfortable Queen sized bed that awaits you to rest in and gather strength for the next day. The nightstands are equipped with USB plugs for easy charging of your electronic devices.
The bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan.

Right next to the bedroom you find an oversized bathroom with a good sized corner shower and all other amenities.

The large kitchen with its oversized dining room set serves as a gathering place for the whole family.

In the kitchen you find a gas stove with oven, microwave, dishwasher, large sink, fridge with freezer at the bottom and all the cookware you need to cook a wonderful meal with.

Directly from the kitchen you can step out into the patio area with a nice sitting area that has a nice and refreshing breeze come through throughout the summer.
The patio invites you to enjoy the views of Coal Creek with its cranes, king fishers and martins hunting for food.

Enjoy the nostalgia and charm of this historic building and the occasional train passing by on the trestle.

A grocery store is conveniently located within walking distance so you do not even have to get back in the car to do your shopping!

From the property you can access Windrock directly without ever having to trailer your rides. Simply ride up to Briceville or Beech Grove and hit the trails of Windrock!
