About this property

This cute little Sierra Style cabin was built in 1968, located in a nice quiet neighborhood in Big Bear City. This sierra style cabin has a nice brick fireplace, Butcher Block counter tops, in wall AC unit, central forced heat, dual pane windows, vaulted wood ceiling, small stackable washer/dryer and a fenced backyard with a lot size of 6,250 sqft. A 2 bedroom cabin for your lovely family. One bedroom with a queen size bed. Second bedroom with a bunk bed for the kids in a twin size bed and an additional queen bed. Second bedroom has kid toys as well for those little ones to feel just like at home. Our fenced backyard has a tree house for the kids to climb and enough space to play around. Easy access to Hwy's 18/38, Community Market, Post Office, 10 minutes from the slopes & 12 minutes from The Village at Big Bear Lake.

Horrific Stay: Filthy, Unkempt Property with No Water—Avoid at All Costs!

I wish I could give this Vrbo rental zero stars. My experience at this property was beyond terrible. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a dirty, broken-down house that looked nothing like the listing photos. The worst part was that the water was shut off on the very first day of our stay, leaving us unable to shower our toddlers—a basic necessity that was completely neglected. The house itself was a disaster. The backyard was filthy and full of trash, making it impossible to let the kids play outside. Inside, the place was even worse. The bathroom and kitchen countertops were covered in mold, creating an unhealthy and disgusting environment. It was clear that this property was not well-kept, and the lack of cleanliness and care was alarming. This rental completely ruined our trip, and I would strongly advise anyone considering this property to look elsewhere. This place is a health hazard, and the lack of basic amenities, like running water, is unacceptable. Stay far away!
