FREE activities every day for stays of 28 nights or less, including Biltmore, Skiing, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, and Timber Axe Throwing. A secluded, private oasis located between the Blue Ridge Parkway and DT Weaverville, 8 minutes in either direction. The perfect home base for exploring, mountain biking, and family fun. Bring your bikes and gear and get ready for adventure!
Looking for the perfect getaway in a serene natural setting? Hillside Hideaway is a beautiful ranch style home, recently remodeled and nestled in the Ox Creek community just outside Weaverville. From here you can experience the charms of the Blue Ridge Mountains with all the comforts of home. Asheville is only 20 minutes away, so you can easily explore all its breweries, shopping, music venues and restaurants. We have a big garage on the lower level where you can securely store your bikes and gear. Living quarters are upstairs and you have a nice blend of indoor and outdoor spaces. Enjoy the rockers on the covered front porch as you sip your morning coffee. There is a back deck where you can grill. Inside you will find a generous living area with a gas fireplace, adjoining the dining area and the kitchen with its cheerful breakfast nook. Bedrooms are down the hall to the right, and the master suite has an attached bath with a soothing tub and dual vanity.
Lace up your hiking boots and explore the Blue Ridge Mountains! Trails weave through forests, leading to cascading waterfalls like Silver Mine Falls. Hike to Craggy Pinnacle, with its breathtaking views. For a gentler pace, kayak down the tranquil Reems Creek. Enjoy artistic enchantment as you wander down Main Street Weaverville. Art galleries are brimming with vibrant paintings, handcrafted pottery, and intricate jewelry. Browse the eclectic shops overflowing with local treasures from hand-blown glass to wonderful mountain crafts. Weaverville is also home to many great breweries.
