A secluded, private oasis located between the Blue Ridge Parkway and DT Weaverville, 8 minutes in either direction. The perfect home base for exploring, mountain biking, and family fun. Bring your bikes and gear and get ready for adventure! FREE activities for stays under 29 nights, including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing.

Looking for the perfect getaway in a serene natural setting? Hillside Hideaway is a beautiful ranch style home, recently remodeled and nestled in the Ox Creek community just outside Weaverville. From here you can experience the charms of the Blue Ridge Mountains with all the comforts of home. Asheville is only 20 minutes away, so you can easily explore all its breweries, shopping, music venues and restaurants. We have a big garage on the lower level where you can securely store your bikes and gear. Living quarters are upstairs and you have a nice blend of indoor and outdoor spaces. Enjoy the rockers on the covered front porch as you sip your morning coffee. There is a back deck where you can grill. Inside you will find a generous living area with a gas fireplace, adjoining the dining area and the kitchen with its cheerful breakfast nook. Bedrooms are down the hall to the right, and the master suite has an attached bath with a soothing tub and dual vanity.

Lace up your hiking boots and explore the Blue Ridge Mountains! Trails weave through forests, leading to cascading waterfalls like Silver Mine Falls. Hike to Craggy Pinnacle, with its breathtaking views. For a gentler pace, kayak down the tranquil Reems Creek. Enjoy artistic enchantment as you wander down Main Street Weaverville. Art galleries are brimming with vibrant paintings, handcrafted pottery, and intricate jewelry. Browse the eclectic shops overflowing with local treasures from hand-blown glass to wonderful mountain crafts. Weaverville is also home to many great breweries.
Savor the flavors of Weaverville's culinary scene. Farm-to-table cafes serve up delectable mountain fare, and you can indulge in freshly baked pastries and aromatic coffee at local bakeries.

Enjoy family fun at Lake Louise Park, where you can walk on the trails that circle the lake. Kids can play at the playground, fish, and walk down to the creek where they can see the water wheel and wade in the water. Please note the driveway is steep and winding, so take it slow and you will be fine. You will need to navigate the outside steps leading up the the front door when you arrive.

Wonderful view up the windy path

Beautifully appointed home with all the amenities and linens. Great space for nature, listening to the creek on the other side from the porch and also close enough to do stuff near Asheville and other places.
