St James offer many designated fishing ponds to use, fishing map is available upon request. Please follow NC Wildlife Resources Commission rules and guidelines.
St. James Waterway Park: The Waterway Park pavilion is a covered facility complete with picnic tables, lighting, electric outlets, and overhead fans. Brick grills and a drinking fountain are also on site. Restrooms are available seasonally. Located adjacent to the picnic area are two playground areas and a covered pier with views of the Intracoastal Waterway.
Waterway Park offers two scenic and safe playground areas- one designed for children up to 4 years of age and a second designed for older children up to 12. Adjacent to the playground areas is a swing set area that can accommodate all ages. Hours of use are from 8:00 am to sundown.
St. James Woodland Park: The Woodlands Park contains a large, grassed area, a pond for recreational fishing surrounded by a paved pathway, and an amphitheater with terraced seating, perfect for concerts, weddings, and other social events. There is a small, covered pavilion with picnic tables and electrical outlets and bathroom facilities available year-round.
St. James is a gated community and you will be added to the guest list for duration of your stay. Beacon 315 restaurant is open to public and available at the St. James Marina.
Please obey all posted speed limits. St James security will issue citations for speeding. Owner's do have dogs, that occasionally stay on property, anyone with a dog/pet allergy should take note
