Enjoy the perfect combination of privacy and easy beach access. Our home is located in a quiet culdesac just minutes from Tamarack Beach! Enjoy some early morning fishing at the Agua Hedionda Lagoon for Sea Bass and Halibut. Your Coffee will still be hot when you get there because its 300 feet away. Or walk another 4 minutes along the lagoon trail to play, surf or Boogie board two of the funnest breaks in all of San Diego at Famous Tamarack Beach.
Of course if your in the mood to just relax at home you'll enjoy sitting on the front porch reading a good book. Or sit by your own private heated tropical pool with 8' waterfall. Or truly relax in your private jetted spa nestled within in a wonderful rock feature grotto.
When your ready for lunch or dinner walk to Carlsbad's Vigilucci's Italian Resteraunt or drive along the coast one mile to the Village of Carlsbad for everything from Sushi to Great Mexican Food. And I mean REAL Mexican Food. Or keep it simple and pick up some Steaks and Burgers and BBQ out back for Dinner by the Pool or fire pit.

Perfect beach vacation spot!
We travel frequently and stay in many vacation rentals and this is on the top of our list. The location, house amenities and the backyard were just perfect! The pool and hot tub were such a hit with everyone - and the pool was heated!! What a bonus. We enjoyed being able to get to the beach in 5 minutes and then coming back to the house to BBQ and swim. The communication with the owner was quick and professional. Do yourself a favor and check out this rental next time you are in San Diego!!

Excellent location, beautiful pool and great kitchen. Short walk to beach and town and easy to explore nearby sites. Couldn’t get the grill to work and a bit dusty, but a very lovely place for our family - including a 2 year old and 4 young adults. Bo us points for a great selection of toys!

The location was excellent. Plenty of space to spread out in this rental. I did not get fives all the way across because the two single beds need new mattresses. They are really horrible. The queen bed barely passes too. Sleeping is a very important part of our life. If they would take care of this, they would get fives all the way across

We loved this home! It was a terrific place to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday because there was something for everyone. Even my college-age nephew didn't mind hanging out. The kids loved the pool, and I loved being able to surf nearby. Hope to return again!

Perfect family beach getaway
Our family loved our stay at Janet's house in Carlsbad. The layout of the house and thoughtful amenities made it comfortable for all. The backyard pool and jacuzzi grotto were a big hit. All the little touches, from the beautiful tropical plants to the artwork, made for a special vacation.

We stayed at this home for our daughter's wedding weekend! It was perfect! We were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub and the grill and patio seating. Everything worked perfect for our family ages 3-60! Would love to stay again in the future!

Great 5 day sta stay!
Best part of vacay was the backyard pool. Lots of room for family & friends. Master bedroom very comfy & sooooo quiet, even though it was right off kitchen/ great room. The back bedrooms were fine, although they didn’t have access to closets to hang items. Lights in backyard went on & off at random times. Thanks for wonderful stay.

Great house for friends to gather
I had a group of nine friends who came down to Carlsbad to visit me. The great room/kitchen was perfect for the size of our group. There were plenty of beds for all. Beautiful outdoor gathering spot with a fire pit and outdoor kitchen. The pool/jacuzzi is perfect as well. This is an easy walk to the lagoon and beach. Carlsbad village is only one mile away. This is a great spot for all adults or a large family.

Great location walkable to beach and downtown Carlsbad. The outdoor space makes this property- lovely backyard, pool, and hot tub area. The bedrooms and bath need some attention. Bedrooms are not as they are written in description, for three adult couples the beds were not comfortable. The room represented as a queen and twin is not- it is just a twin with trundle and does not accurately turn into a queen. There is a couch futon sleeper but that is in the main front room, not a bedroom. This setup would be fine for teens and kids, but not for adult groups more than 2 couples.

Great Beach House
The house was very nice with an exceptional, beautiful backyard pool, grotto, hot tub seating 10 with a lovely waterfall. Also nice seating with a fire pit and an outdoor kitchen. The primary suite and bath were lovely and the other 3 bedroom were small but served their purpose. Great workable kitchen and roomy living and dining area. Overall, our stay was wonderful and loved the location being so close to the beach. Amazing ocean view! The host was very accommodating and available if needed. I would stay there again.

Off the beaten path, our home is located on a quiet culdesac street located on a low lying bluff overlooking the beautiful Agua Hedionda Lagoon. A peaceful walk along the spacious lagoon trail gets you to the beach in 5 minutes. Surf, boogie board, or swim at Famous Tamarck Beach. It really is the best spot in Carlsbad!
