This is an off the beaten path hideaway location at the end of a private unpaved road. It overlooks the tidal St George river in the heart of Wyeth country. See eagles, ospreys, herons and other waterfowl from the big living room picture window. There is a small private dock where you can sit and watch the lobster boats hauling their traps. The apt has a small but fully functional kitchen with a full sized gas stove and all the pots and pands you need to cook your own meals, including lobsters!
The couch in the living room opens into a futon bed. And in the bedroom there is also a loveseat sized couch that opens up to sleep one person.
Wifi and tv provided.
There is a tidal cove where you can launch a kayak or canoe depending on the stage of the tide.
Nearby are the Langlais Sculpture Park and the world-renowned Olson House, the inspiration for Andrew Wyeth's iconic painting "Christina's World. There is also an official geocache on the property!
